There is unease in the Great Lakes Region. In Eastern DR. Congo fresh fights broke out on Sunday as the M23 rebels attacked government bases.
The ADF has also turned Eastern Congo into a luanch pad for its terrorism acts against Uganda.
In Ethiopia guns are blazing as Tigray Defence Forces, a rebel outfit attempts to topple Prime Minister Ahmed Abiy’s government.
In Sudan, protestors are on streets demanding the reinstatement of ousted Prime Minister Adbullah Hamdok. But can the region regain lasting peace?
Tonight we host Security Minister Maj Gen Jim Muhwezi, Kira Municipality MP, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda.

I wish to say thank you to all voters who sent the Hon. Nganda to Parliament, thank you so much, and to you Hon Nganda thank you for standing up for all of our people held captives by gun men! Our soldier has yet again failed the test, he forgets he is not in an army barracks and he is talking to Wanainchi in his capacity as a minister for security!

I have got to give it to you hon Semujju, you've whipped this poor man's lights out forcing him to utter some mdness, that the RPF in attacking Rwanda in their thousands and with thousands of ammunition they only just deserted Ugandan force. But how do we have these people in positions of responsibility!, doe's he realise the impact such comments can create in the region!. But I liked the fact that he kept calm even when it got much heated up which is maybe, an attribute of leadership.

So Uganda allowed the refugee into its army and afterwards they deserted. General sometimes you just talk without hearing yourself. It's very disheartening that people who have power and authority are very much disappointing and lie blatantly.

The Hon Security for Minister needs to know that this is the information age & young people have access to a lot. He is lucky that his previous record for EMBEZZELMENT & ABUSE of office, whilst Minister for Health was not brought into question in this debate. How he became the Minister of Security needs to be posed to cabinet. HOW?

For a whole 1hr, the minister said absolutely nothing worth listening to. Seems like all regime top guns have the same script. 1. "it's not true" 2. "everything is under control!" 3. "would you be able to talk on tv/radio if the country wasn't peaceful." 4. "Those are a few mistakes."
