It’ll probably be mediocre at best just like the show. Don’t expect Winter Soldier level quality or storytelling despite it promoting itself as such and throwing in a Hulk. Stupid move for Marvel to try and emulate one of, if not the best, MCU movie to date. Should’ve had its own tone to separate itself from the trilogy. It’s just going to draw comparisons, especially with the similar political thriller vibe. I hope it’s good, but it’ll prob be the weakest of the Caps. Can’t see it being better than any of the other Caps aside from maybe 1, which was a period origin story. And with it being financially inflated with all the reshoots, multiple negative test screenings, and all the other bs… let’s just say it def has an uphill battle to be considered a profitable success all around. Hard truth is it’s just the harder sell for the normies. Huge shoes to fill with super high expectations. I see Thunderbolts* being more of the sleeper hit and the ‘better’ or at least the more entertaining of the two, tbh. A much easier sell with lower expectations. I’m personally super curious on how Sentry will turn out alone.

Fandango has Cap 4 as the most anticipated film of 2025. The top 5 usually make a billion dollars. So it’s not going to flop unless it’s awful.

@@KentJackson46 There's really no hype for it. I don't see it making a billion. The Fandango thing is a system that can be manipulated by people. I hardly see anyone hyped about this movie. I see the Thunderbolts doing better than Cap 4, not a billion dollars but better as far as a movie. I'm going to see both but not hyped for either.
