This is where the MCU peaked imo. This was my favorite depiction of MCU Cap. Also, I wish there had been a little more previous interaction with Rumlow and Cap, a scene or two showing them working together before everything went south. When he makes that “yeah you seemed helpless without me” comment that was some natural comedy and they had good chemistry as coworkers. Would have been cool to see more of them but overall loved Winter Soldier

I love how in The First Avenger, Cap only throws his shield and fistfights while in The Winter Soldier, he's more in combined martial arts fighting style
@arkazz18133 жыл бұрын
It's a nice evolution. In first Avenger, he hadn't the time to train his skills in martial combat (because of the war and I think he was too skinny), just only experience that he had gained when he fought against Hydra's operatives. After 70 years of sleeping, cap knew that he needs to improve his skills because the war was over and he had free time to practice some modern martials combat

Cap is actually one of the best Martial Arts combatants in Marvel comics. Top 5? Definitely. Possibly even Top 3. He actually doesn’t get enough credit for how well he can fight. But he’s Top 3 in leadership, for sure! There’s a reason why Cap is so respected in the Marvel universe, by both allies AND enemies. His enemies may hate him, but they respect him and certainly don’t underestimate him.

People don’t understand how strong cap is. The kick at 1:27 kinda gives us a gauge in his power level. If he were to punch you in the face with genuine force and not holding back, your jaw and other bones in your face would most likely shatter. Also, every time he hits someone, he’s giving them permanent brain damage. Do with this information what you will.

What folks forget is the reason Steve is so good is because of his beginnings, he had severe asthma and most kids with asthma have to work ten times harder to compete in physical sports than kids that do not, so most of his life he had to rely on the discipline of mastering the simple things just to barely keep up with everyone else. That’s why when he received the super serum the doctor said it amplifies what’s already inside you. Steve is the only one who even after receiving the serum he still trained as if he didn’t have it and mastered pretty much every ability the serum made possible in his body, muscle control, balance, etc etc. I was a child very similar to Steve I’m that when I was younger because of my asthma playing football or basketball or boxing was insanely hard but not impossible because I still had my brain and it forced me to learn how to think first before acting and while the other kids used brute force to tackle a situation I had to learn I’d only have a few moments of brute strength and the rest of the time I had to use my head to adapt and overcome, this aided me because once I got to high school my asthma went away but while my body got stronger I also kept my mind and once that happened things on the field , court and in the ring literally slowed down for me. It’s the same for steven which is why he beats literally everyone with ease! Even though he’s suped up with the juice he’s primarily relying on his brain in every situation like b4 the only difference here unlike myself the dude has super strength, speed, and endurance which basically made him unbeatable
