Probably the best MCU film is the second Captain America movie. IMO, the Iron Man movies hit you as being very entertaining from the start, and the actors keep it snappy. But over the years, the Captain America movies age very well.

I understand what you said about Steve not really having to grow, but that's the point about his character. He's just supposed to be so unimpeachably good and moral that he does not need to change who he is. The world around him needs to change to accomodate him. His journey is just about getting the body to hold his badass personality, and then he's unstoppable. And you need at least one of those characters in a team to steer it in the right direction. That's why he is the leader and the moral compass of the Avengers. That does not mean he doesn't have difficulties, but his stories are about STAYING the way he is despite the difficulties rather than becoming different. I think you will love the next 2 films in his triology, as they are among the best MCU movies ever.

I just realized the similarities between Captain America's and Spider-Man's storylines. Both get bullied, both lose people close to them, both have villains (at least the OG Spider-Man did) that go crazy playing around with machines despite their assistant/colleague's warnings, both have a Stark helping them with the tech, and both are forced to give up the woman they love.... well, at least for a while. I'm sure there are others, but these are ones I can think of right now. Maybe the one difference between them is that Spidey is known to be garrulous.

I feel sad for Kris, shooting a reaction video is not at all important than getting a good sleep. You should've done it on a fresh day, we're not going anywhere Kris. Anyways, this movie has a great conversation between Dr. Erskine and Steve right a day before the actual experiment which in my humble opinion describes the Super soldier serum in the best way possible. "The serum only enhances what's already within you, good becomes the best and bad becomes worst". And that's what made Steve "worthy"(iykyk) of everything. He's Captain America but more than that he's just a kid from Brooklyn, and a good man. The second movie was probably my favorite MCU movie, at least until Infinity War. So sit tight Kris, if you're even 1% interested in this Infinity Saga up till now; then you're going to weep like a kid when it ends.
