In the original comic, Bucky was a barely pubescent orphan who was adopted as a mascot by Steve's Army Ranger company intended as a character that the young boys that comic was marketed to could identify with (like Robin in Batman & Robin), so I was skeptical about making Bucky and Steve the same age for the movie. However, the bond between Steve ad Bucky as life long best friends who were always there for each other works beautifully.

Winter Soldier is one of my absolute favourite MCU movies. It's so so good. I think this and Guardians of the Galaxy are my top two. The guys who directed this, The Russo Brothers, also made Civil War. I think you'll like Civil War too.... really great movie. :) Unfortunately in the trailers for this movie, they actually showed Bucky without his mask, so that straight up spoiled a few things for a few people. But yeh, awesome movie and great story. I think the next one is Guardians of the Galaxy which is soooo fun! One of the best MCU directors is James Gunn and he did that movie.... I reckon you'll enjoy it! :)
