@citizen-7xl53 жыл бұрын
The tactics crossbones uses are pretty solid honestly, he forces cap to throw his shield taking away both his greatest defence and close quarters weapon, he knows cap is enhanced so he augmented his combat prowess with tech and armour and he even has a backup plan in case he can’t take him down with the bomb. if Wanda hadn’t been there then Steve Rodgers would be a smear on the market floor. the only place he went wrong is not immediately using the knives on his gauntlets since he clearly wanted to have a proper stand up fight with him which is all about his tarnished ego.

Technically Crossbones was a big part of the movie. His bombing was the catalyst/tipping point for the events of civil war, so I think that while he may have had so much wasted potential, the aftermath of his death did do a lot in the MCU.
@danyjones7393 ай бұрын
The killed him too soon I'd say. In the comics of the 616 universe after the events of civil war 2 baron zemo forms his own spec ops team(taskmaster, crossbones, ghost, and hydra Supreme) their biggest adversary was the punisher. We would have got several street/military level fights in the mcu if they didn't kill off tony, Natasha, cross bones and Cap this soon.

The MCU simply doesn't have the same amount of time to tell its stories that the comics have, so when they pick up a relatively minor villain like Crossbones or Shocker, they deal with them quickly then move on. It's the same reason that villains in Batman movies always appear in pairs or trios - they want to use as much of the rogues gallery as they can, but only have so much screen time to work with.
