It's been 15 years since I've last watched the series. I was about eight et the time, I think; yet this hit me like a train. Then I remembered the scene, Harlock (Albator in my mother tongue) singing to his ennemies... Powerful memory.

I'm about 15 episodes in and I can kinda see Harlock singing this to Mayu as a lullaby if he ever needed to put her to bed himself. Or maybe something he sang to her when she was a baby.
