That pretty much sums up this episode unfortunaltely. It was just rinse and repeat. Episode introduces problem. Episode fixes problem. Doctor in prison? Heres Jack with his magic butt ball. Ship destroyed but Daleks still on earth? Lets play how many Daleks can we fit into a decoy TARDIS then suck it into the void..... somehow. I actually quite liked the plot, but like for example in "The sound of Drums" we had roughly an entire episode of the Master and the Toclafaine devastating earth. They needed to give the bad guys more time being the bad guys.

perfect example of moffat vs chibnall writing, tells you all you need to know about the current show runner
@nmitchxll3053 жыл бұрын
@@matthewrickard5050 especially icky considering Chibnall's bad history with being PC, and now he's made the first female doctor seemingly far more inept than any of the previous ones
@phoenx84352 жыл бұрын
@@nmitchxll305 It would’ve been cooler in my eyes if, instead of Jack rescuing the doctor by getting himself caught, it was a reverse of the situation, write it so the Doctor gets a distress call from Jack in the timeless children instead of being caught randomly to start it off
