Captain Lee, Kate, and Ashton reunite as a team and embark on an exciting new season in Thailand on mega yacht “Valor.” After his brush with death last season and promotion to bosun, Ashton’s work hard, play harder persona is at an all-time high. While his leadership on deck holds strong, Ashton struggles below deck to keep his emotions in check after the crew gets an unexpected surprise that rocks Ashton to his core. Chef Kevin’s high standards and strict rules for the kitchen and service clash with Kate’s stew style, leading to fiery confrontations in the galley. Kate tries to foster a productive work environment for her team, but when Simone feels favoritism to Courtney, the stews go head-to-head. When Abbi is unable to adapt to the high demands of yachting, Brian and Tanner are forced to pick up the extra work. This reminds me of a time I was invited to a friends birthday party on a party bus. I wanted to go but something in my gut was telling me just to stay home so I did. The next day I found out the guy who’s birthday it was, his best friend got so intoxicated, they called a Uber home for him. However nobody took him home to make sure he made it home safe into his bed. He got out of the Uber stumbled around wasted, Uber took off and the poor kid collapsed outside. It was the middle of winter in North Dakota so the temp can get somewhere around -20 F. Somehow this guy didn’t die but nearly lost his legs.. I stopped hanging around these people after that. If you see someone extremely intoxicated please don’t leave them on their own. Just because you’re night might be ruined doesn’t mean you’re friends deserve to die.

When I was a teen I was scared to go to parties because the y’all acted crazy. One friend brought a gun. I told them take me home. The girl that was spending the night stayed with them and came to my house like 12. I told my mom what happened. My friend was mad but I didn’t care I don’t play that way. So I stopped going to parties after that. I was happier in the youth group at my church.

…young people don’t know how to handle their alcohol…hopefully they learn fast. I can’t even begin to tell you what I’ve seen hospitals when working as an RN with patients who had serious health problems due to severe alcohol abuse! Kidney failure, liver failure, gastric hemorrhage, diabetes out of control, even 3rd degree burns to one young man’s backside and legs because he’d get so drunk he’d cr*p himself and stay laying in it because he was so stinking drunk..that acidity-liquid sh*t burnt his skin severely and became infected. And don’t get me started on motor vehicle accidents caused by DUI. So many horrible things…one grown man in ICU kept yelling out…”no! no! that’s not true”… when one of the other nurses taking care of him told him that his 3 year old son was killed when the man decided to drive drunk with his 3 year old baby sitting in his lap, then crashed because he was so drunk! When a person drinks, it also makes them much more susceptible to freezing in cold weather…also makes their blood thinner and easier for them to bleed. I have seen an awful lot. I have little patience for drunks…that said, I’d never leave a person to freeze, drunk or otherwise…I’d have dialed police to get them help which might save their lives….even if they end up in jail .

I feel badly for Brandy as clearly, that level of intoxication denotes her disease of Alcoholism is severe and extreme. Based on her Friends reactions, Brandy's Drinking Behavior has become way too tolerable. and perhaps, even ignored. Not to mention that Guests are aware of Camera's and everything being recorded and broadcast? One would think they might try to at least "fake" concern? Of course I have NO idea Brandy's History i.e. perhaps an Intervention & Rehab was attempted? Maybe even more than once? Who knows? Whatever the case, in that moment Brandy was at a very dangerous Level and Crew was fortunate that they didn't experience a death on Charter.

I also thought about Captain Lee and how emotional it must have been for him to witness that. Over the years watching the Show, I often think of the High Risk - a Cruise mixing such exorbitant drinking. IMO, Pretty Heavy Duty and for most Guests, I assume it's far from their usual style or amount of Drinking. With such a range of People, inc. Children & even Dogs!, Accidents from Stairs; Deck Gear; Equipment; Water Toys; Jet Ski's; etc and the possibility of someone going overboard is pretty high. It must be extremely difficult to have all eyes on every Guest & Crew on a 160ft Boat! I get why the Show doesn't emphasize that aspect but on occasion, Captain Lee does bring it to everyone's attention. His somber & serious attitude seems totally appropriate for the great responsibility he carries.

I can sympathise with the guests actually, I had a friend like this who would drink and drink and drink, regardless of where you were or what kind of day we were having. Girl could get drunk on a trip to a library. And then when she was drunk she would always have a flakey like this woman and need an ambulance or someone to carry her or pay attention to her. Ultimately I ended the friendship with her when she pulled the same stunt at a funeral. Not someone you want to share a life with, really.

Ok so my teachers aid used to work on a boat like this and she said that the chef would wake up early to cook then after serving 1 meal they would start on the next meal. They really got about 2-3.5 hours of sleep. Just imagine what it’s like on a cruise ship
