Let's be real. He was angry because Kate rejected him. Also, the fact that he continually was kissing her when she told him she didn't want him to, that's sexual assault. The producers should have stepped in at that time instead of letting him continue on the show after being violent.

@Miranda It's not assault LOL. Aggravated assault is the crime of physically attacking another person, resulting in bodily harm purposely, knowingly or recklessly. She was never touched. If she was you would have heard about pressed charges/legal actions as a result. Ashton's behavior when he drinks is reckless, juvenile and dangerous to himself and others. He needs to address some serious issues when he drinks because those actions reflect real poorly on him. But Kate is no victim. She's nothing but a narcissistic, insecure, passive-aggressive child that needs to realize she is now pushing 40 and should grow up and act like it. The two of them working in that environment is incendiary. You'd be better off mixing gasoline and napalm while smoking a cigar.

So tired of these deck hands and bosuns who complain about kate and Captain Lee relationship. She has worked 5-6 years with Captain Lee. She does her Job. Manages her crew. Captain Lee doesn't babysit. He has lived through all the seasons then got to watch the seasons. If he didn't like kate style he would have stopped working with her. If Ashton and the deck crew have issues with their relationship take it up with the captain not Kate. He is the ultimate boss on the ship.

@@p.s.l.115 You're correct. Bravo has thousands of hours of film footage which they cut down to 12 hours stretched out over 16 episodes, so they make that decision to put that in. You're also correct that capt Lee isn't about to cut with the money the show brings him and knows that would happen real fast had he called Kate out for contributions to the insanity that season. Lastly, most of the complains about Kate came from neither the deck hands or the bosun, but from her own interior crew and none dared go to captain lee, for they know it would have made their situation worse if they had.

I’m not a fan of Kate but in that moment I was afraid for her. I really thought he was about to lash out. It was the ugliest & most shocking behaviour to ever come out of the Below Deck franchise. Ashton really blew his big opportunity this season I certainly wouldn’t be hiring him after seeing that outburst. It was like something out of the hulk movies, even the guys looked concerned, rightly so. I wish they’d have had bigger reactions though.

She was literally sitting right next to him when he said it. I like Kate, she definitely has her moments, but I think she's great at her job and she's funny....but she really needs to stop denying the obvious. If your boss states publicly that you're one of his best friends, it's damn near impossible to not receive any preferential treatment.

Below Deck should be in trouble for sexual harassment. The deck crew is forced to wear idiotic g string or degrading clothes to entertain the gay charter guests. All on the insistance from the Chief Stew! You should be paused until you come up with a way to resolve this. The crew are suppose to take whatever shit the charter guests give them.
