I got to know Lou later in his life. Outside the ring I found him to be a calm, intelligent, funny guy who knew more about Wrestling than anyone I ever met. He was also very religious.

Man, the guy had talent... to do that kind of interview, unscripted, off the cuff, is incredible. That's the big difference between the good ole WWWF and the WWE today. Today the talent don't get an opportunity to show any of their real talent because everything is scripted like a movie. I miss the good ole days.
