I remember as a 14 year old boy in Allentown pa captain Lou jumping up on a table trying to stomp on the hands of me and my best friend, then as we turned around and ran, here comes a steel chair flying behind us. That was the greatest thing in the world for two fourteen year olds. Ha ha ha 44 years later it's just as it happened yesterday. Thanks capt lou for the great memories. It's still awesome today.

He was the craziest, most charismatic figure of the early WWWF and WWF. He never failed to have me laughing my rear end off! He was the greatest manager and promo guy ever!

I realize that they have sponsors and such to think about now, and they have to watch their words carefully so as not to hurt anyone's delicate fee-fees, but man I miss these days. In those days the WWF was much more regional, mainly in the Northeast. The WWF had a huge following among Latinos up there. That is why face Intercontinental Champions were guys like Pedro Morales and Tito Santana. From 1980-85 Tito and Pedro were the only faces to hold the Intercontinental Title. The titles didn't change hands very often.
