what kind oil goes in lower case and how do check it

I have a 115 turbo, and everything seems OK not really good, my question is about a VRO That’s been removed, and I run 50:1 quicksilver synthetic,does it running this way still require the fuel recirc system, to get extra fuel/oil to the bearings, have all new check valves and have ti plumbed as shown in the omc manual, except the block off of the fittings used in the VRO, the way it’s plumbed it has a pop in the crankcase,when I pinch the line the popping stops, and runs fine, the line if I disconnect it from the crankcase fitting dribbles fuel every few seconds.don’t want to toast any bearings.What todo?

How tight should the impeller shaft be? I feel like I'm over tightening with omc specs. Prop doesn't turn freely?
