Captain Scarlet | E4 | Mercury Falling - Spectrum is pleased with the launch of a new satellite being put into orbit that will detect Mysteron energy deep in space. Suddenly the crew loses control of the ship and a ransom demand is sent, if not paid the craft will be crash landed on Washington DC. Scarlet and the rest of Spectrum are puzzled, they seem to be facing a classic Mysteron gambit, but why is there a demand for ransom.

Awesome, the Captain does not screw around when it comes to dealing with Mysteron scum! I'd love to see a Netflix/Apple etc, series taken up of Capt Scarlet. I watched the original as a kid, and this early CGI series is really well done. The next gen for Capt Scarlet would be fantastic!

The letters MSFB-5XL is visible on the side of Mercury at 20:21 That looks like a scrambling of FB-XL5 to me. It was pretty funny to realise Mercury was a nod to that series.
