In my humble opinion, as a huge fan, what keeps The Damned going is their originality, passion, humor and incredible energy! "We Love You" all, "Sounds Great!"

I had fun meeting Captain a few years ago! I also had a great meeting with Dave on Carnaby Street back in early July 1986 and he helped me arrange a press pass to take photos in the pit at their 10th Anniversary Tea Party! Some of the photos are in their book 'the Light at the End of the Tunnel"!! I made a video about it! Also I have some videos of the photos of the Tea Party and other shows in London in the mid 80s!! Some of the best years of my life!! Can hardly wait to see them again in Portland coming up June '24!! 😊

Underrated guitarist and songwriter. Love you Ray Burns

They are more talented people than Captain, it's true, but most people are less talented than him, imo. He's written so many hook driven songs with The Damned, solo and with others. Neither Jackie nor Captain plugged The Sensible Gray Cells which surely wouldn't have hurt?!
