@@minusskydiver5039 the artifact of command allows you to choose which items you get for every item, and you unlock it by imputing one of the special codes at the hidden teleporter in stage 5 and then beating bulwark’s ambry

0:13 "A supply beacon that normally doesn't even do damage." Actually, the supply beacons have always done 2000% damage on landing, it's just that people _never_ normally use them for damage since hacking things to be free is OP, and because they take a while to come down so enemies usually move out of their radius before they can land.

It does do damage, but I don't think the game ever tells you that. The equipment description doesn't say anything about dealing 2000% damage so most new people probably aren't even aware.

@@JM..... Because Eclipse fall damage kills are a thing, and not everyone would have a hopoo feather to mitigate that and that was a really big problem for people like Captain, Engineer who just got unlucky without a way to mitigate damage.

beacons have a proc coefficient of 0 so they can't actually activate bands, you can pick up bands without worrying about them stealing the kill

Bands aeent affacted by proc coefficinet right? It just procs when you do an attack with 400% attack. It isnt like a 50 50

According to the RoR2 wiki, the bands only work on attacks that have a proc coefficient greater than 0 and that deal 400%+ damage in one hit, but I still wouldn't risk it honestly. You don't want to spend 30-40 min or more on a run specifically for an unlock, just to fail the unlock.

Yeah but let's say your trying to kill the boss with the beacons, try to get him down to lower health with your primary and then boom ATG's proc and then boom bands proc.

@@nightlord7277 move speed and teddy bears. But also you need to get gud. Basically learn enemy's sound queues and attack patterns and between insane damage and crazy movespeed you will manage it!

Artifact of Swarms also helps with this and Bandit's Mythrix kill unlocks, since it spawns two Mythrix with half health, so you get two chances at the unlock and they have less health so you can get the one-shot easier. I got the Bandit unlock because one mythrix stole all my shaped glass, and I shot that one with the special and got the unlock even though the other one was still alive.

I just got the achievement, and I highly recommend picking up a Dio's. During the run, I picked up 2 of them. I didn't consume them normally but when I tried to kill Mithrix when he had my 3 pieces of glass, he survived after both beacons with 42 hp. You usually cant send down more beacons than 2 per stage but I was able to save the run by letting him kill me which refreshed the supply beacons, and I got the last hit.

After i updated the game. i saw in the logbook i had 999 games played in my save file. Then i went with captain and unlocked this skill on the first try and in my 1000th game Felt nice

Another tip is to bring a friend! REX's default special skill can root Mithrix during any phase.

I unlocked in a different way, I actually stacked crowbars and played with the artifact that doubles the ennemies. Arriving at the boss, you just have to see which one steal your crowbars, kill it and then drop your supply beacon on the other one. Worked like a charm.

5:30 Captain M2 is good. Shoot, press M2, shoot again for practically no reload. Also, you can use it to keep enemies still long enough to get hit by your strikes (if you're not using the nuke).

This is a great ability... with the right boss. Imp overlord, worms, and mithrix move too much. The other bosses have little movement, although AWU and solus. can be a bit problematic. I find AOE items help it a lot because wisp and bands have a better vertical damage area than the diablo at times. Also, monster teeth and topaz is great because you get a massive burst of healing or barrier!

Thats the thing tho chronobauble finally has a use since it works on bosses stack like 10 chronobauble and i gurantee the only bosses that will be able to escape the radius in tine would be teleporting bosses, which you can easily bait into the explosion anyway bc yiu just have to throw down the nuke and kite them for like 17 seconds, then quickly run back inside the nuke radius to get them to teleport to u, then once their teleport animation begins in the radius you can just hop out and its a wrap

Just use the ability wait like 15 seconds then activate the tp the nuke has massive radios if you place it on the middle of tp it would cover a big part of the place where a boss can spawn

I imagine it's really useful later passed the first loop when you essentially have armies of mobs coming after you that you can easily bait into getting wiped out by the nuke.

I tried this! Its... actually underwhelming because just one with a primordial cube, a few wisps, and bands... and the map ceases to exist. Slap on some monsger teeth and nukahanas or ceremonial daggers and boom map cleared.

command+sac+swarms farms items way faster than just command, also double mithrix gives you an extra chance to kill him (more? if dio's is involved). also, dropping 5 effigy of grief in the middle of the boss arena basically glues mithrix down so you can drop the beacon on him. otherwise great video, i was having a lot of trouble doing this without shaped glass

The nuke with hard light afterburner is just the original ability but it takes five times longer to land and does like ten times the damage.

Would recommend artifact of swarm to have 2 tries on a solo run to help out. I did the bandit-related achievement with artifact of swarm and got it on the first mithrix and my friend got it on the second one.

For consol players: there is a glitch that gets rid of your supply beacons when you go to mithrix, how to fix this (this worked for me) is to not use your supply beacons on the previous stage

The beacon coming down actually does do damage on anything that's around it you don't need Beacon of shocking to kill anything with it if you have an extra Beacon while fighting the boss you can use it on the boss to kill them

I think you have to only charge the big 4 red pillars under mithrix bc the orbital strike doesn't work either bc of the roof Edit: Just tested it out; you actually need to NOT use your supply beacons on the previous stage

Just a tip: If you have the time, you absolutely should get artifact of sacrifice, then do the trial you can go to under that lunar shop thingy. Those enemies can drop lots, and the trial itself doesn't make the difficulty go up, as time completely stops.

Another trick for the moon is if you have an Eccentric Vase you can skip the Glass Pilar step all together and wormhole your way up to mithrix

I did on monsoon with choosing items. 5 Shaped glasses with 130 HP at the end and around 300 HP with the shields on from killing mobs. Around 88% dodge value and was able to do with equipment 16 Million damage :D SG + 5-6 Laser Scopes around 20 crowbars it's one heck of a damage.

To anyone having a problem not being able to use your supply beacons, just let mithrix kill you as long you have a Dio's!! I just let mithrix bop me into heaven and came back and am now able to use the supply beacon! Hope this helps/works for the rest of you!!

you can actually skip the area charging in the last stage by pointing the nuke at your feet and letting it lauch you straight up. you need 1 shot protection tho so no shaped glass

I did something quite similar to get the achivement, the only diferent thing was that i stack 4 shapped glass, 10 teddy bears, 10 crowbars, 10 fuel cells and 1 gesture, and i equipped the jade elephant, in that way i always had 500 of armor so it was much harder to die, it's just a build that yo can use to feel safer.

apparently runald's band is a separate damage instance then your own attack. i sometime didn't get my cooldown reset with lights out when playing bandit because runald's band proc even though it seem my shot kills the enemy. maybe my shot leave a tiny bit of health so the shot it self doesn't kill, but the runald's band proc does

Honestly I found that the better method is to just grab effigy of grief and slow him in his final phase, get him low and you get a guaranteed hit with the beacon

any help, i don't understand, i'm tired with the achievement smushed; tried so many times; every times i'm at the end; when mithrix is few hp left; i cannot shoot the beacon on it; it just doesn't work; no beams from the sky, what the hell is this ?! i click the thing, nothing shoot; wait for the timer to be ready , try again and nothing, am i too far ? i end up either dying one shot from mithrix or kill it because i use primary just to try some stuffs, this drives me crazy!!!! anyone else got this problem and have a fix? ! each time it take me between 25 to 40min to get there, i end up trying on easy, also monsoon, but was too hard; i just don't get it;!!!!

I dont know if to split items up evenly or try to get a proc chain working on 1 character for example before the player gets on hit items .. or like 1 player stacks onhit the other player stacks flat damage and or burst items

I see that daggers help, but shatterspleen (which always procs bleed with max crit) I actually think is a bad idea since if you bleed every hit the he dies too quickly.

I just avoided every item that applies a debuff "over time" and chance-based items. I focused on maxing my crit, getting as many teddy bears (above 10), as many fuel cell, a disposable missile, Dio's Best Friend>Rejuv Rack, and going to the void as early as possible just in case while on monsoon. At his final phase where his health is low and where most of your items are back, i just shot mithrix at his feet so all shots won't land and then I called a supply beacon to kill him. So yeah, mine is not totally efficient, not recommended.
