It was funny the Capt mentioned how some auditors get very antagonistic but that point is not germain to a detention, investigation, or arrest without the necessary RAS or PC to support it. There no laws against being an ass. That said I do feel sorry for cops needing to deal with the auditors that flagrantly push the limits of the law in hopes of forcing a situation for either views or a lawsuit. No they won't. It won't change a thing actually. Qualified immunity only applies to civil litigation (lawsuits). It has nothing to do with criminal prosecution, which is what it would take to hold LEO's accountable. And even in a civil suit, when QI is denied, police still receive indemnity. Meaning individual LEO's never pay a cent. Not lawyer fees, not court costs, not even judgements. Although abolishing qualified immunity would be a good thing, ot won't make government officials one bit more accountable. It isn't the silver bullet so many seem to think it is.

Case law on the right to film police specifically states that you must be on public, government owned, property.
