Shy guy falls to me feels a lot like you are driving in a river-mine themed course and I very late into the game realized that in fact involves climbing a giant Fall. And I think this happened because the level itself doesnt take the time to show you where are you going or where you been. And I think that happens with few courses too. sometimes you're driving and suddendly you realize your wheels are blue and its like "oh, im not in the floor right now"

Same thing with the dolphin course, you’re actually coming out of a giant Whirlpool after the eel, but you don’t really realize. The anti-Gravity just kinda makes you forget where you are

What's brake drift?

@@andymcclurg9916 Brake drifting refers to braking(pressing b) while doing a drift, this slows u down and allow more sharp turning and halts your momentum if used correctly. It's very important on 200cc as it prevents u from shooting off the stage at a turn I can definitely English and spell things correctly

While I’m a little sad that Cheeseland is ranked low (I just love how you can completely cheese some areas of the map with mushrooms, perfectly fitting for the name) I am glad that someone agrees with how amazingly chaotic Baby Park is and how horrible Donut Plains 3 is, can’t wait for the part 2 when the DLC is finished.

my favourite track is either super bell subway (for largely the same reasons) as well as neo bowser city. i enjoy how slippery it is on 200cc, as well as how the music is a mix of the mk7 theme and toad's turnpike.

Im honestly very happy with the DD representation in Mario Kart Deluxe but my hearth still wants Daisy's Cruise (i think thats how you write it) and DK jungle beacause going down the volcano was amazing....and if they want to include Dino Park in there i would not bother as long as they keep the shortcuts.

IMO, i dont like baby park in this game specifically. This is mostly because more often than not, i run into walls, especially on 200cc. Also, the reason i say specifically, is because in every other game Baby park has been in (MKDD, MKDS, MKWii CTGP, & SRB2 Kart), its easy to not run into walls. Plus, the track is tilted on one side as well. But these are just my thoughts on one of the tracks. Overall, good ranking Astro!

My favourite course is Super Bell Subway and I am wrong because Super Bell Subway is not Yoshi Shaped and it does not feature Yoshi Shaped Trains or anything else Yoshi Shaped. It has Yoshis in it but there is not enough Yoshis in Super Bell Subway which is why I am wrong for liking Super Bell Subway.

The Rainbow Road (N64) course was honestly one of my favourite from back then so I was really disappointed in how it got reduced to just a single lap in Mario Kart 8. They don't even have the Chain Chomp that would go through the course backwards which I also miss.

Dude donut planes 3 is the best coarse. For a start, let’s look at the layout. It looks really good while maintaining that blocky look, and the music is actually a remix of my favorite Mario kart song from super Mario kart’s donut plains 3! Truly an excellent coarse and I hate seeing people be so rude about donut plains 3

Yes, I *do* know how hard it is to make these, that's why I don't. Thwomp Ruins is bar-none the best original course in this game. You said Mario Kart Stadium had everything, well Thwomp Ruins takes all of that and adds an optional underwater segment and a subtle yet dynamic course change on top of that. Little beats the feeling of taking a straight-shot with the glider on the last lap after going for a dip in the first two. Okay, Also, I was waiting for your Retro Rainbow Road Rankings (say that five times fast) for this clapback, but *somebody* here who is able to make quality KZbin videos is *clearly* not a true OG Super Mario Kart enjoyer (knowing about the Yoshi Circuit shortcut they took out hardly makes you an OG in my book). Like, not just the Rainbow Roads, look at those freaking rankings for Donut Plains 3 and Royal Raceway. I'll give you that Royal Raceway has some sick drifts . . . and that's it, there's literally nothing going for it apart from the drifts at the start of the lap specifically. I'm already bored by the time I reach the launchpad boosters. Donut Plains 3, meanwhile, tells a freaking *story. Real* OGs remember this course as being the fitting introduction to the butt-clenching Special Cup in the original Super Mario Kart, and those bridges were in disrepair even back then, but at some point in the past 30 years, the second part of the second bridge had given out completely. Luckily, we now have the technology to enjoy racing underwater optimally, allowing us to enjoy the splendor of this classic course in a brand-new, HD light--the only SNES course of the base Mario Kart 8 course list, might I add. Of course, because water hazards were such a prominent aspect of the original, how much *easier* this course has gotten as a result of that relegates it to the second course of the Banana Cup. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention: in the original, you only got *one* item box per lap, and could (of course) only hold one item at a time. In short, git gud, then git back to me. Bet you didn't even know that the title screen music has a callback to the original's title screen music. Also, no dumping on Isabelle: she is the only canonically bisexual character in this entire dang roster, and sits in a character tier that's at the optimally efficient nexus of Acceleration, Mini-Turbo, and Top Speed, if you prioritize those things in that order specifically. Basically my new main, taking the best of both of my previous characters, Yoshi and Lemmy. So yeah, apart from these points (and Mount Wario being grossly overrated cough cough also Dragon Driftway looks like a dick and plays like one too cough), I generally mostly agree with most of the points you make in this video. Have a like; I'm already subscribed.
