Yo Baby! Berks, you da man! Thank you for helping me out. You flamed them in the air and I flamed them in global chat. They couldn't pirate me or shoot me down because of your help. They did follow me to NB and rammed my C2 while I was in the Commons selling my load. The knuckleheads were so bad, they missed me completely a few times. It took them about 15 minutes to destroy my ship (and get a crime stat). But not before I sold the shipment. I made a profit, and you made my day! I was just telling my orgmates that I had seen a previous video you made, helping a fellow space trucker, then here you are talking to me through my windshield...lol We have been talking about this for awhile now. I'm all for piracy, even as a trucker myself, but I hate people following you and trying to ram in an armistice zone where there'd be zero profit for them to get out of it. I had a similar, but less objectionable experience the other day: A guy try to pirate me on my way out if SMO-18 (he was in a Talon and I was solo in my MSR) I just about made in into QT before he could pop me but when I arrived at NB he'd followed me and tried to land next to me at the commons. So I headed for the spaceport instead, but this guy follows me there too and actually lands in my hangar with me so that he could hop on board as soon as I opened my ramp ... luckily the bugged landing services came to my aid and impounded me, so I was fine, but still this shows why we need that new "trespassing on ships" that CIG have now delayed till an unknown date 😅

As a pirate who considers it my primary income, I find ramming distasteful and petty. The recent pirate rush also means that 90% of the pirates you run into are utter trash. IMO they should remove armistice zones because all they seem to do is encourage ramming. That aside, I always enjoy a good fight and more traders ought to bring escorts. It only takes one or two guys to completely distract a larger group of pirates so you can get away.

Hay Berks, I noticed that OGDankerz was in that pirate group. He was in a group of greifing stream snipers who I ran into over the weekend. For a period of 3 to 4 hours they (with LuciSfer who is the leader of GreifersNET) harrased, pad rammed and stream sniped a streamer who I was flying with. And afterwards accused the streamer on their stream of some of the nastiest things he could, just to get a 50 second video. The video was removed off their stream by KZbin.

Traders should be able to hire bodyguard services. Maybe a 20 percent of the daily income or some flat rate per day

I got 20 hours in star citizen. Mad respect to you and those that protect against piracy. Havent run into it myself, but i also dont fly anywhere as good as you. Done about 3 missions transporting random boxes, maybe once i have something worth stealing then maybe i will get targetted.

Stealth Mega Ghost Hornet is OP. That pilot didn't have it or what it took to handle the strengths of the hornet generally. He was flying it like a light fighter with no buff. Note: Berks is likely a way better pilot than me. Me getting up those strengths a bit lately probably wouldn't keep me alive against him.

as a victim of pirates i totally agree that its great to have a few brave pilots willing to kick some pirate butt. my skills as a pilot are very poor. i would love to learn how to be a better pilot so i could help make the verse a safer place. thanks for being a good guy.

As a cargo runner, I had to develop as sorts of tricks and none were reliable. My fav is always carrying a railgun but only works when drug running. Still nothing better than catching an overconfident rat with a surprise as soon as I step out of the hab. Next is if interdicted - set cruise on the Juimp point and race to a turret. No one expects it, so I almost always get a salvo on target. Been working on my dogfighting and I would join any group that is doing protection.

I got the game and did a mission. I landed and saw someone land near me. Knowing that they're gona kill me, i ran to my ship with my hands shaking. It felt like forever opening my ship after finding the small open button with my mouse then took another forever to close it. Felt the real fear of being ganked. 10/10 game.

berk gg definitely seeing it from a vid perspective, but we actually started the game with the intent of getting an Idris to spawn then a series of unfortunate luck led to the crime stat which then we leaned into to get a uee Idris to spawn instead of doing the Arlington mission since it spawns at a level 5 crime stat lol

I think it's time for the devs to start trying to implement parachutes in the game for pilots. At least once you land you can still call fir help instead of just dieing. I don't mind having to pay for them with in game currency, he'll we buy everything else😅😅😅

very nice and cool interaction with the c2 pilot at 3:20 now what made him "know" that he could give you any level of trust? nothing. the game is so poorly designed absolutely nothing is set up to enable to gauge other players real intent, the law system is levels of fucked that is impressively bad, you have to think someone delibaretely made it to be the most garbage the entirety of the gaming industry has ever seen. and arma 2 modders had it already figured out and done better 10+ years ago.

with default keybindings when you've targeted a ship you can press number 8 to go through different focus points on the ship. You can see the point you're targeting on your target MFD

if i remember it was a fox 1 infra with zero decoy. The noise works again IR ? i will add 2 more things = BOOSTING shield (not the thruster ) and orient the shield on the "back"... but maybe he was focus on an evasiv tactic

I just ordered a full set of Virpil joysticks, throttle, and rudder controllers. Will be ordering Tobi eye tracking soon. The pirates have had it too easy or so it seems. They need to learn that there is risk in piracy… The next thing I will need to do is train and train.

Man I love being a Hull-C trucker. You just go between stations (Arm-zones). Just spool QT at the station and jump to the next. You never get shot by pirates. Maybe rammed, but never happened to me. Life in the Hull-C is good.
