Atta boy Steve....another great video.....most importantly, you got to stay warm.....one way to charge out in the field, a person could make up a cable with clamps to attach to the car battery to power those units. That would be plenty of power there.

2:52 That is so cool! A custom M9 Charger for Captain Drone! Lol I watched the whole video but I don't think if I understood everything, but I definitely tried to. Again, I am not in the FPV hobby yet and only know some basic things about them. Never mind, It looks pretty easy to do everything as soon as you have the charger! I can't tell personally about these chargers but, In my opinion, the ToolkitRC M9 and M4 are very efficient and nice FPV battery chargers!

Question: do you have to use a battery to power the bigger unit to charge a battery or can you plug it into the wall?
@CAPTAINDRONE7982 жыл бұрын
You need a power converter to plug it into the wall (Convert your home voltage to 12 volt DC). You can find them on the TOOLKIT RC website (link below video). Or you can buy them off BANGGOOD.

You'd need a special cable. Most RC chargers are designed to charge 2S and above and not 1S.

To plug it into the wall you'd need a power converter (converts your home voltage to 12 volts DC). Check the TOOLKIT RC website, as there are several there (link below this video).

Can i use xt60 6s battery as input source of M4 ?
@CAPTAINDRONE7982 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I no longer have the M4 so I can't check it out. However, all of the chargers on the market that work off a DC voltage all have a minimum and maximum input voltage. If you check out the product on the web you'll see what it is for the M4 and that will tell you if you can use a 6S (25 volts DC) as input.

@@DavidG2PRight… But… this is a basic hobby charger for people that charge 2s batteries up to 6s. It is not designed for higher since it can’t balance charge higher. You need to be looking for a professional, very expensive, high watt/high amp, charger.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I know but I'm just trying to find out whether it charges PB batteries up to 20 or 24 volts. This is not about balancing, only charging. Previous small chargers by ToolkitRC could charge PB up to 24 volts=12 cells. In the manual of most of their current chargers it says max 10S=20 volts. Hi Captain drone,l'm a big fan I'm thinking about getting a 4k 60fps drone but I was wondering if I could attach a go pro or something similar to an SJRC F7 because the 15fps camera can be detached from it.
