I have never ridden a commercially made e-bike, only the one I built. I never hooked up the pedal assist on it and road it as a motor bike only. It had a one kilowatt motor on the front wheel and a 48V battery. On a fresh charge it would reach 35mph within a short distance. If you like speed, you would love that bike. I weigh 175 pounds and it had no problem with that weight. I really like the seat on your bike it looks a lot more comfortable than the standard bicycle seat. Your review is excellent and most informative. 👍👍😀

@@MrTomaton2 yes I did. It was really easy. The only difficult part was building the battery for it, so I bought a book on the subject and studied some KZbin videos and then it wasn’t a problem.

I have this for 2 weeks now. I love it. Going back and forth from house to work is really saving me a lot of money for uber. THE ONLY THING I don't like is. I can't find ANY bike basket or rack that would fit the rear part. All in all this bike is a budget bike and it's very very reliable

I bought a foldable basket for it, the bottom was flimsy so what I did is I took a RV levelling block I had and bolt it to the bracket behind the seat and then I bolt basket to the RV levelling block. Give me sturdiness I need. So far it hold up pretty good.

I have an ebike (Philo H8). My advice for anyone looking for one is to make sure you evaluate in person the sizes and styles of ebikes in advance, not just videos\specs online. Generally all major areas there are local places that rent\sell them. I made the mistake of not evaluating before buying and bought an eBike from amazon that was too large. I am 5'8" and many eBikes are slightly too tall for me (feet do not touch the ground). I can ride it, but if I were to take a spill, the risk of injury is significantly higher. My eBike is suited more for someone who's 5;'10 or taller.

If someone is not a cyclist or has zero knowledge about bikes, then what you say is a good point. However, all it takes is for one person to know the frame size they prefer as well as wheel size, and then they can buy any bike sight unseen. I'm a cyclist and every two years I'll buy a super nice road bike & order it from overseas. I know exactly what works for me and everything arrives and fits like a glove.

Make sure to look under the seat from the side or below and disconnect the white and black wires connected to each other. Then open advance settings and change the settings and you have removed the limiter and doubled the speed. I wanted to return mine until I saw videos showing how it's done

I've been thinking of building a propulsion system for my canoe, or maybe a Finnish style river boat (they're little over 6 metres long and 148cm wide) and very maneuverable, and I think that batteries from a E-bike, and an brushless or even two, between 750-2000 kilowatts should be able to get it going quite nicely, and then add a portable solar panel for charging the batteries.

Stylish bike! Turn lights looks useless, but thank god horn is very good. Pedal type electric bike is more useful in most scenarios. There was a lack of technical data like voltage, engine details, PC functions

Pretty cool looking ebike! Incredible range with the spare battery too. The only potential problem I see is the seat. It seems too wide to be comfortable for pedaling. Compared to a high end road bike, how would you say the pedaling comfort is? Along with the width of the bike between your legs, is it more difficult to pedal? Most street bikes are made to be as streamlined as possible, does this go against that philosophy and make pedaling a chore? Just curious for my own purchasing question list, Thanks Steve!

From experience I’d say few humans pedal on an ebike with much effort unless the ebike is designed as a road racer vice an off road bike. For me, being a cyclist, the seat was no issue when pedaling.
