Not gonna try and analyze or go all therapist here, but I will say what I felt from this. The song felt, to me, melancholic, but frustrated. Bitter. Like being so far, getting so far, having the job you always wanted, but having something tear you from those heights back to your roots, below the clouds that now just look dark and daunting. And god, I love it. Granted, that's all just my take on it, but lord knows I loved it. Felt like having a kindred soul join me by my lonely little fire, and despite the tone of the song, it really helped, and still does. Thanks, Colm. ^^
