Unfortunately, this isn’t possible. Jordan has said previously that the two aren’t compatible because you can’t use cc on a server, but nightmare mode is a server plugin, and thus requires a server to be used

Swick quality upgrades! Im really liking the new editing and stuff. As someone else mentioned the music might be a bit loud in the first part but all in all great first episode of Captainsparklez Quality Content. Also some might prefer if longer vids like this were broken down into shorter 20 - 30 min episodes, but doing parts probably takes a hit on viewership.

@@gemer84 yeah, he is never going to be able to please everybody. Some people prefer one high quality video a week while others prefere 7 low/medium quality videos a week. What matters most is giving the majority what they want, which is higher quality, less quantity. If people want uncut episodes, they can go to the second channel/ live streams

Falloff rate won't be too bad when a series is only 2-3 episodes long, while increasing the clickthrough rate (shorter, 20-30 min videos get more clicks than 40-60 min videos, in most cases).

The editing on this is amazing, not over the top and adds to the gameplay. It feels so natural like it’s always been there but feels cleaner and more smooth and has a nice polish to it. Just a note for the Captain: We support your decision to switch to quality over quantity in regards to your videos. It is evident that this is a quality video with great editing, some people (not me of course) will sometimes not click on a video because it is "too long". I suggest ~30 minute videos. The quality can still be there, you would just split the video in two. Ending the first part with a cliffhanger or an abrupt stop, before of course reminding viewers to like and subscribe.

This is the only gaming channel I watch. I really loved how there was never a dull moment. Hey Jordan! So I've been super excited to see this new style and I know you said you were planning to read comments so I had some thoughts to share. I always watch videos at least a little sped up and on just 1.5x speed the music in the background was stressing me out. It just made everything feel so much more rushed haha. I tried it at normal speed and even then too it just feels a bit off and overwhelming, at least for me. I think it really just felt like it was about to go into super speed/ time-lapse mode and just never did...? I think it definitely added to the video but might be better when used more sparingly. It honestly made the whole video feel a bit less organic and more produced which isn't always bad but definitely strange for now. That being said it definitely added to the intensity around 23 minutes and was great! I love the idea of the second camera. I really liked what happened at around the 18-minute mark when it cut to the second camera and your game view was just minimized in the corner. I really think this could be a great way to add the second view but not have us feel like we were missing the game. I know there was so much raw footage and no one wants to watch 4 hours but I did feel like a lot was cut out. I personally have no clue where I'd begin cutting down a video like this so Nick did a great job I think it just is a hard situation. As is, a lot was cut out but the run length was good. I don't think you would want to break it into separate parts, but that would allow a bit longer of videos. I think it may just be better to have a special video like this be closer to 90 minutes. I understand why it was cut down like I said, but I really missed seeing the whole carrot adventure and lots of other little parts. I think this also added to the rushing feeling because it was just the most eventful parts and one thing right into the next. I felt less like I was there with you on the journey and more like I was watching a highlight reel. It took away me wanting to fully celebrate when you did beat the ender dragon because I wasn't there to see all the pain! All in all, I am still super excited for this new video style and think it's a great move for you! I look forward to seeing how future videos adapt to audience response and improve as everyone involved gets more familiar with it. All around, I think you, the editors, and the audience just need to get used to this new style for it to be most successful. If you managed to read all this, wow and thank you! One of the reasons I watch Jardon is because his videos are more "chilled" than many other channels. I'm more of a long form fan than a highlights reel kind of guy. This long journey doesn't feel like a long journey but more like I'm watching a trailer for that journey. New wider camera angle, great addition. The commentary and Jardon being frustrated and elated is as awesome as usual, really feel like It's me playing. Nothing wrong with the content, Jardon's great as always, it's just the quick cut editing style I find jarring.
