Speaking of the f3 screen; if you are underground, and look in a direction, and the "C" Value is higher than 50, there's air blocks in that direction past all the stone. Easy way to find caves.

Jordan, if you somehow read this, for the pie chart to work, you need to shift f3, then click 3 then 1 twice, and then 2. This will show certain blocks like a spawner, furnaces etc.

You said you wanted the speedrunners to explain what you did wrong with the "bed strat". So here goes nothing. 1) you built the platform wrong. You want to stand directly on the bedrock instead of elevating yourself. 2) turn on hitboxes with F3+B and time your explosions so they are under the green head hitbox. The reason why you weren't doing good damage is because the hitboxes and animation are out of sink, so even if it looks like you are hitting the head, you actually aren't 3) rotate your entire platform 90 degrees. You want the dragon to swing left to right but here you had it swinging up to down, which makes it harder to time/

I had a look at the top speedrun out of curiosity and found out that they do most of their travelling in the nether. In a good run they will typically build another portal about 200 blocks away from 0 0 and hope they get near the stronghold, however there are certain things like structure generation and mob spawning which can tell you where to portal to get near (or even inside) the stronghold. This technique is called divine travel.

Just FYI - the pie chart is used via tick, entities, block entiities + When searching for stronghold, and you know what chunk it is in, you just look at chunk coords top left and dig where it says 4 0 4. Last thing - you need to explode the bed when his head is over the bed, instead of body! :) Great vid as always
