Ive had my swift for about a month, shot about 2000 darts through it, I love it, its great. I personally use the 1.6 with the medium barrel, and I get 240FPS consistently. Yes, the spring retainer does wiggle loose, especially with the heavy springs when firing fast
@doriansc13 жыл бұрын
Teflon tape stops the retainer cap from backing out, I also added about 0.2" of half inch CPVC inside the cap to prevent it from bing damaged by the harder steel spring as mine was pretty heavily scarred after a couple hundred shots, same with the back of the plunger.

The Swift is a monster. I shot myself straight in the hand with one just to see how hard it shot. I almost bruised my hand lol. I have no idea what spring was in it, but it was STRONK! We played a game wherein someone was using one, and i was getting tagged at the opposite end of the field from it. I dont know the distance on our play field, but it was pretty busted. In short, this blaster is crazy OP and likely breaks every fps cap by far. If you are using this blaster against people closer than long sniper range, youre not a nice person!

Honestly as someone who has played both Airsoft and Nerf (mostly nerf) I'm stupid hype for this level of performance being more readily available.
@matthewyoho54223 жыл бұрын
I've gotten my Swift *very* close to 400 FPS with the 1.8 spring (specifically 394 FPS, firing Dart Zone Max Pro darts), but as you've noted, that prime is... well it's a heck of a thing. The 1.6 spring by comparison is so easy to prime that I didn't consciously recognize it taking much/any effort until I switched to the lighter springs during testing (having jumped right to that initially), and that's hitting northward of 300 FPS with my seals (capping out somewhere in the 330s), so that's how I plan to actually use mine most of the time. Incidentally I don't think you were "supposed" to put all 4 green o-rings onto the plunger, so much as switch one set for another (and change up the pusher o-ring, that does actually make a difference), as following the guidelines that BlasterTech used to have on their Swift listing (as researched by Bradley Phillips) is what got me to the whole "minute+ thumb test" air seal I have. I'd never actually considered that you could get 2 extra o-rings on that middle section.
@CaptainXavier3 жыл бұрын
I agree, I don't think that is the design...but it sure works well.
@bryzabone2 жыл бұрын
I wrapped 2 thickness of yellow Teflon tape in my 2 ‘normal’ plunger slots fir the o rings, greased em, and whoa! Huge improvement.. I’d recommend that over the greater friction of 4 orings- I also ditched the small oring on the… dart gate bit… 🤷🏼♂️😆 and wrapped a liberal amount of gas-rated yellow tape instead… IMMACULATE seal, and boost performance again 👍🏻 (coz I broke both my little orings 😂🤭)

I recommend the metal breech as well. I have 2 and both of the them, the plastic breech barrel screw broke. I am getting 140 to 150 short barrel and soft spring. I used my own o-rings and have near air tight seal. I did not like the prime of that super heavy spring. I do have the longest barrel and second highest spring for over 200 FPS

I like the idea of the spring silencer, far too many blasters have horrible spring noise, sometimes I just put in a bit of foam from an old dart just to dampen the noise. What bothers me with this blaster is it's double the price of a Ceda S for the same performance, before I start spending extra $$$ on upgrades, and people are having issues with breaking parts.

How's Durability? I've heard of people with cracked parts. Also, I understand it has no action lock (doubleprime)? what happens if you pull the trigger before priming forward so the breech slams shut, does it survive? For me, the main selling point for commercial Injection Molded blasters as opposed to 3d print kits is durability and built-in abuse protection (locks).
@adriansue89553 жыл бұрын
Ah, continues watching the rest of video to hear yours did indeed have a cracked breech.... that's unfortunate. I'm thinking Worker should ditch the plastic part and just ship with the metal breech by Default. Doesn't sit right with me that you have to "upgrade" to fix what is obviously a design flaw.
@CaptainXavier3 жыл бұрын
Agreed
@doriansc13 жыл бұрын
I cracked my plastic dart gate and shattered the plastic part that connects the priming bar to the pump grip, fortunately the plunger, plunger tube, bolt, and priming bar are all thick aluminum parts and are extremely dry-fire safe in my experience. There are no locks, if you are afraid of accidentally pulling the trigger with the bolt back you can use the trigger safety, it will not fire with the safety on.
@Jack-lo8dz2 жыл бұрын
Hey. I did that once when I didn't prime forward. Luckily I had already changed the dart gate to the metal one plus I was using the weakest spring. So the two metal parts hit each other and some top layer of the metal came off (might just be the paint layer of the metal parts). Took it apart and checked if everything was OK. Did the finger over the barrel and fired to test the air seal and it was good. From now I will keep the safety on just to be safe and not accidently fire when it's harf primed during magazine changes and what not. So not sure about durability with a plastic dart gate or when you accidentally do that with a stronger spring even with the metal dart gate.
