Vile mods on twitch Instagram and YT noticed that the bolt has some front to back play relative to the bolt sled. Fixing it greatly improves performance and consistency. That might help you with detuning.

the pharaoh had a very nice looking form factor, replacing the scope and changing it to half length darts it looks even better! gorgeous blaster and very nice performance too, loved how accurate it is and just how nice it came out.

I still need to get one of these! Looks like half-length darts are the future. I think I’m the only old school person that still likes trad-length. 🤣 PS: that paint job is sick!!! I need to get a hold of some more dye colors.

My friend, you are not the only old person here. 😂 I still primarily use full length darts in my Max striker. But half length darts do look like what will be using primarily in the next couple years or so. Give or take. It also depends on where you play. Half darts have made an appearance at the event that I go to. But they haven't become the primary source of ammunition YET. . .

@@Si-Fi.51 let's not talk about mod backlog 😰. The DZ Pro/Max stuff is crazy right out of the box. Even their Adventure Force/Covert Ops stuff is not bad. Most of my to-mod list involves older Hasbro offerings.

@@notnuffnerf haha! Yeah they are. I didn't mean specifically my striker. More like, my gear other things that make battle more convenient. As far as older Hasbro stuff, there are a couple mod kits out there for the long strike CS-6. There's one for half length darts, and one for full lengths that I really like. And they'll make my beautiful long strike usable in battle again. 😌☺️

As a fellow lefty, I’ve just gotten used to moving my face away from the blaster when I prime it. Sucks when you’re tracing a moving target, but what can ya do lol. Also, pro tip: If you cut down a Dart Zone full length to half length magazine adaptor, it’ll fit on the spare Ultra mag holder beautifully allowing for Talon mag storage. I’m sure you’ve got a bunch of spare adaptors since so many of DZ’s pro blasters use ‘em.

Looks absolutely badass, I love it. With that prime, even a lefty can enjoy it. I always try to suggest it when people want their first superstock springer. One thing I am curious about though is the orange piece on top of the scope: mine only has one at the front of the scope.

That is a cool idea. The geared priming rod already rides above the plunger tube. So, there is some room above the plunger tube and there is a extra mag holder in the stock. It would likely hold the same adapter as the current magwell.

WARNING!: Do NOT Mad Minute with the stock bolt handle on the Nerf Ultra Pharaoh. I am fairly certain that is how it came to fail on my specimen, which is completely stock

Maybe if you print a different riser with little bit of of downward slop on the picatini might make more able to be "zeroed"

I'm tempted by this kit. Kinda wish you'd shown the internals a bit more.... I'm also wondering if you could get a supercore with bottle on inside the shell, coz that would be dope af..... I put the 18kg Kronos spring in mine and it is more consistent around 170 fps though. Need to print those parts because i do have occasional feed issues & the scope is too low

Maybe the other magazine you were using was folding the darts because it was to low because of the spacer?

There are lots of half dart bullpups. The Lynx, the Miscreant, the Cage Fighter. People have also made adapters for the Rayven and Stryfe.

Couldn’t you just saw off the part the original scope goes in and put a rail on (basically making it a flat top) it so you didn’t have to deal with the rising issue?

You could, but it would not be as clean and you would then need a riser.

Why do people call them "SCAR" barrels? SCAR is a weapon platform (full rifle). Wouldn't it just be a rifled tip? Just curious how that started.

I believe you will find that a "scar" is a growth of tissue marking the spot where skin has healed after an injury. My point being words can have different meaning based on context. Yes, SCAR can refer to the weapon platform. But on the context of Nerf it stands for "String Centered Auto Rotation." It originally referred to an string-based "rifling" barrel extension. Nowadays we have actual rifled barrels but the term has kinda stuck.

Never had a nerf gun that i modified want to get in to my first one and was looking into the Pharaoh Ultra is there real difference just using the conversion kit for shorter darts or do i also need a sping and what are some good sights too look at that are reliable for shipping mod kits and parts that isnt just Amazon

I dont know much about that blaster or the internals but when you have it open could you dremel out a slot for the prime on the other side and attach a charging handle to the other side and make it ambi or left handed?

This is such a meh kit... I have done quite a few of these, and no matter what I have done I can't make them consistant for very long... it always drops seals. And it's a mongrel to pull apart if the bolt is in. I have o ly had 2 go the distance and continually hit 160fps... but after a few weeks most of them drop to as low as 90fps...

Yes? If I understand the question. The scope replacement part just replaces the old scope. It has tabs to keep it aligned and is very secure.

This is the 4th Ultra blaster I have modded. I have 3 modded Ultra 2s. Two for elites and one for Mega. That is just serious mods. I have also put k26 in most if not all the Ultra Spingers now. When it was discovered that the Ultra line is really easily modded and the results are very powerful the mindless, edgy hatred for the Ultra line got stale fast. ;P
