Hey Captain. I'd be surprised if you remember me but on your New Year 2023 video I asked if you had gotten around to doing the engravings for Eir and I'm back again. I used to watch a ton of nerf vids but you are the only channel that sticks in my mind no matter how much I watched other nerf youtubers (also I miss the old intro with you shooting a rocket at the camera). I hope you have a happy new year and if you haven't already, I hope this year you grace Eir with the engravings.

If I ever need to add a screw post I take a sacrificial blaster cut the post to the height I want and cut up some of the blaster's shell and mix it with acetone and it makes an abs paste. Pretty much just add the paste and glue it in place with the abs paste. Once in place support the base of the post with more abs paste and let dry. Pretty sturdy custom post.

@derekbevil4593 Ah, well, at best, a Jupiter hits around 90-100. I suspect the issue is barrel drag. So you could cut off the barrel...but then what is the point?

@ absolutely! I wasn’t hating on the build I was just curious about the fps, with such a bada** build I would have thought you would want more sting out of it. I didn’t realize that the Jupiter was only hitting 90-100 fps, I guess it’s difficult to get a high fps with rival when using the geometry of a traditional flywheel cage.

@derekbevil4593 there are ways you could get more FPS, but it would be a much more complicated build. If you grafted in a proper Rival cage with the bigger wheels and motors or you put in a brushless system, you might get more FPS. Barrel drag will still be an issue though.
