I've been following this closely, cause it's darn near my dream blaster. Another person has a front and mag that takes full length Mega XL in the mag. Also Silly is also currently working on a tube fed version that is absolutely gorgeous. It may hit that desire you have for a bandolier even better. Oh, and it's a fixed mag because Silly said it was the easiest design to start with and get out. He does have the goal of making a shell blaster that has swappable magazines.

You should check out the double stacked mag mod for this blaster, I think that’s where it really shines in comparison to the tube based designs.

I do like the Battle Axe, but I still think I am more excited about the Breacher. Tube-fed Silly shells sounds pretty cool to me.

heres the thing: if from OOD, the 3dp parts practically cost 200 bucks. will you ever get another 3dp blaster? buy an a1 mini, or another decent 3d printer and its just a bit more $

@@TrashTawk try buying from AK Blaster mod. they are very reliable, and only cost what 96$ USD for 3dp parts + hardware. you need to assemble it yourself. you'll need lubricant oil/grease and super glue. also a screwdriver (electric helps).

trust me: pay a local person who is somewhat trustable, who uses Bambu lab printers and filament like I do and you are golden. guarantee they wont charge you 200$ for 3dp parts.

Load five shells with like triple-darts, and then top off from a bandolier each time unless/until you need some emergency shots and then you can feed from mag?

You can, but they lack the lip that the purpose built 50 cal shells have so you have to be careful not to let them tip too far forwards or the balls just fall out.

You could keep 4 buckshot shells in the mag with a wire through the slot in the mag as backup when single loading from your bandolier.

Would it have made more sense for the magazine to be a cylindrical rotatory magazine to hold 6 and be a little less long?

Sillybutts has made a round drum mag for it as well, though I can't say for sure why he scrapped that

@@laptopcat6673 Not scrapped at all, just delayed a bit. It needed some more work, there was no reason to delay the Battle Axe launch by months to finish just the drum mags though. So the drum mags are going to be released in a month or two!

Hey captain I'm sure this is a very weird question but for some reason I remember many many years ago when i was 9 or 8 I think watching your channel I remember a video of yours talking about a character you made or something and the lore to him I can't remember his name but he got the plauge and his family kicked him out and he had to hide in a horses body to survive the winter now this could totally not be you but I can't remember where I saw it but I think it was something you made or wrote idk so if you remember this or know what I'm talking about I would love to hear it. ooh this needs to be a "street sweeper" rotary mag for easier loading from the back with shells. this is almost the ultimate "scrounger" blaster. Almost makes me think we need a game where you bring no darts or balls, and everything is pre-scattered on the ground :)

What WOULD you be using to shoot just MEGA XL rounds? Based on what you've shown, I'd run this with 5 MEGA rounds, and breech/hand load full size MEGA XL as a kind of shieldbuster/grenadier role, along with a bandoleer of MEGA XL shells and a few others as "mixed fruit." BTW- you know the Nerf MEGA XL ammo packs are $3.99 at Ollie's? (I picked up a few packages without having a blaster to use with them-just on princilple!)

I've got a 3d-printed picatinny stock on a 3d-printed picatinny rail on my Crush and it *seems* pretty sturdy for regular use. Regular metal picatinny attachments are plenty strong, though--they're used in real steel.
