Just happened along your channel , love your raw commentary both on and off the boat. All my channels I follow have grown so much that it becomes a show and tell on the sponsors they utilize. And dang I get it , pretty soon ya can’t even enjoy the very things you used to hold dear to ur heart. Also if you are doing it to pay bills then one has to do the sponsor deal. God bless all who try to make a better life for theirselves.anyway 0:02 used to have a 19’ ft bayboat fishing west of clearwater and being such a small vessel it would limit the distance I could fish from home. Well my favorite fishing spot was 70 miles from shore. Just a shout out to a new subscription for me

Lol those big old Snappers!!! Always when they're not in season. Brandon, that fish looked amazing!! ❤ cooking it on the half shell, so moist and flavourful - and of course nothing better than fish tacos. I got some of that Taco Bell Baja Sauce(on your recommendation) and it's AMAZING!! Has a great kick to it. Thanks Capt C for yet another amazing video from the beautiful Gulf Coast.

Glad you gave props to Reed. You definitely need to cook the trigger throats without the skin. You can season them better and get that smoke flavor thru the meat.

Dam that's a lot of meat I have been missing out of a lot.. Thanks for the lesson
@CaptCollier8 ай бұрын
Yes it is. Next time I do a CCC with triggerfish I’ll show how to get the throat out. I think I got it now, it’s alittle different than removing a snapper collar

Another great video! Capt that was looked like a straight up catching trip rather than fishing! I'm in rural West Texas and the Gulf Coast is 8+ hours away and this old disabled veteran can't handle the drive! I've been taking yhe grandson fishing in a City pond about ,45 miles away lol

Well Captain Brandon(The Hoss)Collier, I would have to give that video, on a scale of 1 to 10, a 10! Had me chuckling pretty good. Never knew about fish throats before, cheeks, but not throats. Will definitely have to give them a try. We’ve been looking at properties on the Mississippi coast, mostly because of affordability. I’m assuming the fishing grounds and opportunities are similar? Also, are Snook and Permit in the area? Hope you had a good nights sleep!

Nice video as usual. Really enjoy your work. I am coming to Alabama with my 27 Gamefish opening weekend of Snapper and have a few questions. 1 day I want to run to the Petronis. Is there a way to communicate with you other than here?

we put a soap fish in the live well- after showing the fish lather- killed 80% of the pin fish and the croakers within 3 minutes, so you are right- it is a defensive mechanism
