It's kind of hard to forget this scene where the guy who played Lurch plays a robot who imitates a woman's voice to trick Kirk out of hiding. I haven't seen it since the 80s and I still remember it. And I still get a kick out of those painted foam insulation sets they used whenever something took place underground, with that operatically multi-colored lighting they were always using in this series. Acromegaly, by the way, is the name of the condition that gave Ted Cassidy, and others, that distinctive look and size.
