@@bhbluebird i wonder if they used a cable or something. for Cassidy to initially yank Shatner up off the floor by his wrist could have really done a number on Shatners shoulder. I am sure that Shatner could help a little by launching himself with his legs, but it looks like he is propelled like a rocket.

I used to watch ST when I was small!! Loved the series and those that followed after, have you noticed that in the 60's, Gene Rodenberry had cell phone like props, the thing that Spock wore in his ear, like the hands free phones of today..so much technology that was sci fi is actually in use today..just the transporter we must still be working on... lol!
