Thank you for the great video, just finished getting my 2008 Captiva done. I thought it would fix the issuing I’m having which is gear seems to be slipping everytime I accelerate around corners/ in roundabouts. Unfortunately hasn’t, any thoughts on what it could be? Tranny fluid was dark.

hi, we make the neodymium magnetic plugs. to replace trans internal filter you need to disassemble trans contact link is in description. cheers

hi, on these trans usually contaminated solenoids and sensors and blocked internal filter ( trans needs disassembly to replace that filter ) cheers

hi, you always should refill according to manufacturers specs and temp, just incase there was a leak or if the last person filled incorrectly. refilling with amount that comes out should only act as a guide to the amount needed. cheers

@@YepThatsIt Please tell me if the quantity of 4 liters of ATF is correct for refilling this automatic gearbox model from Aisin (Chevrolet Captiva 2008, 2.0 D, VCDI). I think the previous owner did not do the refill at ATF correctly and I can't find a manufacturer's specification for the refill. Only the total quantity in the 7.11 liter box is specified. Thanks.

hi, you can install an inline trans filter in cooling line, just make sure you confirm the direction of flow as the filters need to be in correct flow direction. cheers

hi, usually would be a worn, leaking or sticking solenoid, or could be worn valve bore or sticking valve until it warms up. you need to do a few checks. cheers

Ciao scusami se ti disturbo..sono Italiano ho una captiva del 2011 cambio automatico..ho un problema non capisco perché quando la macchina è ferma a minimi giri si sente un forte martellamento nel cambio ma in marcia non lo si sente..aggiungo che l auto va bene sia di motore che nel cambio le marce entrano bene e non slittano cosa potrebbe essere quel rumore a minimo? hi, there is no such thing as exact amount. we use what comes out as a guide, but always use manufacturers specs to measure fluid level as specified temp. cheers

hi, you can access the level plug through wheel arch if you turn steering to full lock. cheers
