Question Captain. Do you have logo/tail lights on the XLS? I reckon would be a nice thing to have them on and the wings lights as passengers board as well as Nav lights. Welcome lights! Another fab vid
@captmoonbeam6 жыл бұрын
yes we do. The entry way lights up fairly well. I think it's my phone that has a problem with low light and doesn't really show night scenes well
@graysono6 жыл бұрын
captmoonbeam XLS has neat boarding lights Reason I ask is I saw a Falcon 2000 on the ramp other night and they'd turned on the nav lights, logo lights and wing/ice check lights as well. With boarding ramp also lit plane looked amazing bathed in light to welcome pax.

Hey caption. Well I should be taking my written test next month in finally getting 80's and even some 90's. In the following Aerodynamics flight instruments sectional charts airspace & weather minimums communications & radar services electronic navigations. On a side not VORS are confusing I'm just glad to finally see high scores soon as I take the written I'll be working on fixed PPL and rotorcraft PPL. Was your max altitude 15k For the first flight. ?? Nice I heard a medivac pilot she sounded cute.

There's no doubt, plans can never be regarded as cast in concrete! Mr Murphy is always around. Pretty long haul to IL and then back again... lot of miles every which way in fact- and final night flight. Must have been a little while ago judging by the weather temps you mentioned in MO. So how come planes like the cj's are single pilot and planes like the xls are twin pilots? Watching the video's it seems as though the work load is mostly the same
@captmoonbeam6 жыл бұрын
It's the weight of the aircraft, how it was certified and everything has to be within easy reach of the pilot. The landing gear handle has to be on the pilot's side. On most aircraft it's closer to the copilot.

Pilot Derrick Normally nothing, you can still land just find. At least in the CJ2 you just can’t really steer on the ground till you disconnect it.; which is a quick push of that red button on the yoke. Can’t speak to what happens in the XLS.
