I've been instructing for decades and this explaination of the Canadian Approach Ban is first class. Its amazing how professional and knowledgeable flight sim guys can be compared to the wide variety of flight instructors.

Just to clarify, am I correct to say the 60 deg N exception only applies to commercial operators?

Great video and all along I thought the approach ban only applied to Air Canada approaching taxiway C at SFO.

Which exam are you talking about? I can't promise this information won't be on an exam. However, depending on the exam, it would likely only cover the scenarios for the flying you will be dealing with, either as a private or commercial operator.

No mention of Ban vs. RWY LOS eh? Could really screw up your day if you don't keep LOS in mind.

Sorry you feel I talk to fast. I have to try and keep the videos relatively short to remain within the youtube attention span. Please feel free to use the speed control in the bottom right corner if I am going to fast. It sounds surprisingly good even when the speed is much faster or slower. Thanks for watching!
