Ty for all of this. . Love the idea of adjusting contrast on different color channels. . Btw, I am advise user of the color checker. The patches make it easy for the color match. . Again, Thanks

For sensitivity when adjusting curves and sliders, you can hold down the ALT key for more precise movements.

it was really good to see, how a photographer and a retoucher can work together, listening to eachother. (i'm not a preofessional, i do sg other for living, but have some experiences, that "cooperation" can be pain in...) Thanks Ava, Jan, and David.

Thanks for posting this. I had to drop out of the real-time because of other commitments. I particularly appreciated the discussion of the challenges behind the shoot (the dogs, the wrinkles, the rain and indoor lighting...) and how they adapted.

With regards to the colour checker question: is there a way to use a colour checker with Capture One? I know how use mine with Lightroom but I haven't been able to figure the system out for Capture One.

Hi, I watch a few you tubers use various post processing software to process their captures and most have a different approach on just how they process an image. Can you please put together a definitive step by step approach on just how you personally approach your post processing: an exact order of operations you would use every time? Also, there are various types of capture from: Portraiture, Landscapes, Still life, Architecture to high contrast black and white etc. Does your order of operations using this software change according to the type of image captured and if so can you also show that order of operations for that specific genre mentioned above, obviously that may involve you producing 5 KZbin videos on just how your sequence of operations differs for each genre mentioned above, but I sincerely hope you can find the time to produce these videos. As an example some may use a 10 step order of operations raw processing framework like the following for a particular genre of capture: 1-LENS CORRECTION, 2-TRANSFORM, 3-CROP, 4-WHITE BALANCE, 5-EXPOSURE, 6-CONTRAST, 7-COLOUR(COLOR), 8-DOGE & BURN, 9-CLEANUP, 10-SHARPENING. Thanks, in advance.

Hi Paul Thank you for your input. I have forwarded your message, but I can't promise we will do a Live Session with this topic. But thanks!

Hi Paul, David here chiming in. I am sorry to disappoint but it would be highly unlikely we would produce such content as it's not an approach that fits well with the general purpose of a RAW converter. To expand, the "steps" would not vary between genre but more so between different photos. i.e different photos require different approaches regardless of the genre. Some might need more work, some might need less. You will very likely find that you can't rigidly stick to a stepped process and find yourself returning to earlier steps as the editing process evolves. I would encourage a more organic approach to editing. You will likely find it more of an enjoyable process with a better end result. The only two things I tend to do as a first step is to crop / rotate and fix white balance and exposure. Everything thereafter varies wildly.
