Thanks for the shoutout Jay! I think that Crossroad of Ravens (or whatever they end up translating it as) will be up your alley :) Short but so sweet bc it packs everything that I think most Witcher fans who come from the games want ☺ I think the low hype stems from there not being a release date in sight/cover, but it's been quite big on Polish Booktube. Strangely it didn't have like any marketing in Poland other than the author dropping a few tidbits here and there so it was kind of a surprise drop? Anyways.... Other than that MAN AM I HYPED FOR THE DEVILS AHHH

Yes, Isles of the Emberdark will be available as a premium Dragonsteel hardcover edition if you backed the campaign! Fulfillment is expected to start this summer, preceded by Dragonsteel sending out the audiobook and ebook to backers. Tor will release regular editions in early 2026 as well, and I’m sure everyone can buy any and all editions once fulfillment is complete. We don’t have exact dates yet for any of these. I’m very excited for this one as well!

G. G. Kay is my favorite author. I have read everything he has written, including his book of poetry. I do a relisten to the Tigana audio book about every other year. The new book sounds like it would be a great companion read with Song for Arbonne. I wish he got more love from US fantasy fans. I feel like the problem with his writing is that he either hits you just right and becomes one of your favorite authors or like several people I have introduced him to he does not hit right and becomes a DNF.

Isles of the Emberdark -- I'm really looking forward to it too, since Sixth of the Dusk + Shadows for Silence [...] are still my favorite Sanderson books (which you might remember from your "Top 10 Brandon Sanderson Books according to My Subscribers"-video)! 💙 The latest BackerKit update for Emberdark (17th of january) mentions that Dragonsteel aims for an early fall 2025 release🥳🎉and Emberdark, as part of the Words of Radiance Leatherbound campaign, is actually the first Sanderson campaign I've backed so far, too! 😋 By the way, since we have similar taste when it comes to liking fantasies with darker tones, would you be interested in listening to one of my own dark fantasy stories? I have one story taking place in a forest that is dark, but also filled with humor and hope, which I believe might fall into your tastes (especially since you enjoyed Shadows for Silence [...]). 😃 Let me know if you're interested, and I can return with a link in my next reply! 😊 / DARK FANTASY Author Birger 💙📚
