That is so sad seeing his other mommy saying goodbye. He didn't want to go😢. I feel so bad. He has tremendous love coming from that family and his new family. I'm glad you straighten that out Stephanie. Especially about the teeth. All I can imagine was and not from the home you got them from but his prior home or homes. The people pulling his teeth out. It's sad that his teeth were that far gone that they did have to pull them though. It's nice that you are friends with his prior home and that you can keep them updated on how he is doing. It's especially nice that Xander is there with him. Nothing like having a brother.

Very nice video - glad you made this one Stephanie. Thank you for sharing video of his first real and adoring Momma, who truly loved Ohana. The bond and love between them is so deep and obvious - couldn't help but also start crying when she was, and Ohana seemed to be saying don't worry Momma, I'll be ok, and thank you, I love you. Love, hugs, thanks and all the best to Ohana's first real Mom and her family. Thanks to Stephanie for adopting and loving him too as his other Mommy. ♥ The only thing that matters now is that beautiful Ohana has somewhere he can comfortably call HOME - a bed he can call his OWN (recent videos confirm he's VERY COMFY sleeping in! lol!!), and that security - combined with support from new-BFF Xander! I think it's a truly BEAUTIFUL outcome for Ohana, and I would love to give Ohana's previous owners a HUG - it was a heartfelt decision but they made the right one, putting Ohana's welfare first despite hard time, and also massive respect to you Steph, as many of your viewers might not realise the workload has nearly doubled for you!, but the monkeylove has more than quadrupled which makes it all worth it!!! ♥ from Australia

OMG that bit you showed of the video was sooo sad! I feel bad for that owner and him, geez watching him and her cry like that no wonder it made you cry. I was asking about if he came from a bad home because his teeth and now I know why and I'm sorry if I gave off a bad vibe it just really upsets me when people have all an animals teeth removed, I understand there are certain situations that they have to like this one and now thank you very much for educating us all to his situation. And they are able to watch him and his progress every day with your channel and the fact that you stay in contact warms my heart. The ending made me tear up as well...did she come to visit and that's why he was crying or was that when they had to separate? Either way, very emotional. I could tell she was getting upset by some of the comments and assumptions...I would too. Just know, previous owner, we all love Ohana...and you did the right thing. Ohana will never forget you, and you could have possibly been the first loving home he had. So thank you for making Ohana the beautiful, kind, amazing monkey he is today. The video ...very sad made me cry but the up side he is also in a loving safe home with you bless his little heart and has a wonderful little brother. It's a wonderful story to put out thier perhaps someone who is thinking about adopting a monkey would consider an older one from a similar situation such as myself I have chose to wait it out until I find one that really needs a home. When a breeder lists them as a breeder monkey not a pet obviously that would not be good but in your situation everyone is happy ohana he loves you and Xander that's plain to see, his previous owner I'm sure they feel at ease with it all So happy everyone is happy! So sad to see him not wanting his previous owner to let go of him, he is clinging on to her and too upset fearing of not being able to see her again. But the past owner is doing the right thing loving him and wanting the best for him. Breaks my heart to see him so upset but happier for him in the long run having a buddy and a new home. He just needs to readjust. That's the hardest for any animals, readjusting to a new home and hopefully he will do it very soon.
