Good and simple video, thankfully without an annoying background sound track. A little spoken commentary would have killed it, just to let me know what your doing and thinking about doing next.

Does your Weboost antenna hit your tent when mounted on the ladder and the tailgate is open? I have a similar set up and didn’t think of putting the antenna there.
@samuelseth2 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t, but it does hit the tent when the tent is opened and I open the tailgate. I just have to keep that little part of the tent door unzipped and then it’s fine.

@samuelseth2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I painted my wheels a dark grey and they are stock size 265/70r17. I have Dobinson shocks/springs that gives it a 2 inch lift.

The most important part about camping in the wilderness is that you must eat a good full meal just in case there's an emergency and you no longer have access to food.... you need to survive ling enough for rescue team to find you..... so eating an apple with peanut butter is healthy but won't sustain you for long if there's an emergency.....

First off… loved the video! We also have a 4Runner. But, Question… why would you go to all that work for a sleeping setup when you have a rooftop tent up top that can be deployed in such quick time? Just curious if you prefer in car camping to your tent. We have the Walkabout 87 23Zero on the 4Runner. It’s the biggest they make and if it’s just me, I’ll still sleep in it just because of all the room and lack of need for setting up an air mattress.
@samuelseth2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I agree, It's much quicker to set up my tent but I felt like car camping that day. I like to mix it up lol. Nice, I have the gfc superlite. there is plenty of room since it's usually just me.

@jesuslovesbass3944 Жыл бұрын
Ok, I get it for the most part, I think. But, seriously, driving out to a wooded area, parking your rig, making a quick meal then sleeping in the back of your truck just to get up in the morning and go home? Man, I could accomplish what you did in my backyard, just need to pull the truck over by the firepit and sleep in the truck overnight. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you're going to go car-camping, then go camp and do something; you know, like fishing, hiking, nature photography, burry dead bodies...something, anything that would make the trip more of an adventure. Know what I'm saying?
