Safety tip: Always take trail markers, sometimes trail branch off in many directions or if you need to exit the forest quickly, ie animal chase😁...leads to getting lost accidentally.

Most insects and bugs don't really bother me other than the mosquitoes! Luckily the mosquitoes aren't too bad where I've been camping lately, but having a campfire always seems to help keep them away!

Hello, very nice camp video. The food definitely looked delicious. My camp food is not that fancy. In regards to the lake scene, I was saying to myself at this point in the video, if I was there I would be in that lake swimming. Then you went into the lake. So awesome. How many times a month are you in the outdoors? I wish could go out as much as you. My work schedule just doesn’t allow me to. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. The water was so cold but totally worth it! In the Summer months I go out on trips and/or hikes at least weekly! Luckily there are tons of great places to camp and hike really close to were I live, so even if I don't have a lot of time, I can still get somewhere beautiful and secluded for an overnight! I also edit videos in the car while Nick drives, so that helps me get some work done on the go!

We use trash bags, to take all our stuff to and food waste back. Picked up a holder BagEZ,super useful when we are outdoors, to hang bags safely. Even use it as a clothes dryer rack..

How popular is camping where you are? I'm in Washington, and it feels impossible to get a car camping site. You've gotta be SUPER early to reserve a spot months in advance. And it looks like there's nobody else around you - are you guy at an actual site? Our campgrounds here are always packed and noisy. You have to drive out on forest service roads or go out into the deep back country to get quiet like you've got here. Basically, camping (and hiking for that matter) are way too popular in Washington!

The camping in this area gets really popular on the weekends and there are definitely crowded campgrounds nearby. We try to go out during the week when things are a lot less crowded and we like to drive on forest service roads and find places off the beaten path!

Suzanne Andrews Myers all the research I’ve seen is actually the bpa coating on aluminum such as cans . As far as deodorant it doesn’t allow the toxins to exit the body but not necessarily aluminum on its own is problematic

The orange and brown one? It's from Cotopaxi. I've had it for years, so I don't think they sell it anymore, but they do have lots of colorful jackets so you might be able to find something similar!

I'm so happy to hear that your camping trip was a success! I usually say car camping only to distinguish it more from backcountry camping which is when I hike into the backcountry and camp away from my car. I think when most people say camping, they're talking about car camping.
