In the US this car is only a $6800 premium over the CLE450 which makes it seem like a really good deal. Especially since it isn't a 4-cylinder like the C-class AMGs.

The Coupe has a lot of Software issues. My CLE 53 was now over 4 weeks in the workshop and still a lot of issues. For a answer in the Claimcenter i have to wait over 7 weeks. That's not really a premium claim that Mercedes claims

@@Mercedes-AMGIt would be AMAZING if you could get the Mercedes Me Connect to activate all of the tools! I gave up after about 20 hours of phone calls to customer support and taking the car into the service department, but some of the features look really cool. I just wish they worked ….

First time MB owner ( CLE 300 cabriolet purchased here in the US in September ) coming over from a BMW and never had a vehicle with so many software issues. The vehicle is now at the dealer for the 5th time. Mechanically, comfort, and driving wise the car has been fantastic. The dealer has provided me with various MB vehicles while trying to resolve the issues and each one has been trouble free. I am beginning to believe I have a lemon . If others are having software glitches, I would love to hear if they eventually got resolved.

Mercedes lost its way with build quality and engineering in the late 1990s. We lost the AMG v8 engine on the c63 which was one of my favourites although the transmission was no great shakes. Design outside for every single Mercedes has me looking at which part I like least (the BMW snout takes the cake I know). I also hate the shiny metal design inside - no visual interest or variety whatsoever and a good place to scratch your nice watch (LHD). The questions "sent in" here are as bad as the car itself. Porsche builds better cars although they do not make one I would like to buy which would be a smaller sport sedan or sportback like a shrunken RS7 or Panamera without any EV power, thank you very much.

I don't care how well the aero deflectors work, they look really bad. Having a cabriolet is 50% about the open air driving experience and 50% about style. Poor job Mercedes.
