Always sad for me to see station wagons being crushed.. Those would have been the type of car I'd drive if I had the money.. I'd live in it too.. take out the back seats.. add in a small mattress and box spring.. portable toilet and stove and I could live anywhere..

I'm pretty sure that the Diplomat wagon was discontinued by 1986. I was alive back then, and I don't recall ever seeing one in the wild! @@elaineewalt8137

That Blazer was self-destructing before it could even get into the crusher! (Is it just me or are those new front-loading washers falling apart faster than top-loaders? 🤣) The Chevy C-20 may have been a '71 or '72 because the parking lights were in the bumper; earlier models had them in the grille

Looks like a LeBaron wagon with Plymouth Gran Fury grille, added afterwards. It was a rust bucket, sorry fans, too far along to "restore". No replacement sheet metal out there.

Not the Family Truckster! (Yeah, yeah; I know the Truckster was a Ford) That is the first Diplomat wagon I have ever seen, though. I think that Blazer just took over the top spot in our Rustball Rankings. It's fun to toss in a few appliances now and then, too. I wonder if somebody cut that old Chevy truck in half to make a trailer, or if it's @ss just plain rusted off. Good load, today.
