Reasons why your dent puller might not stick:
1. Clay surface is too rough.
2. Clay surface is too uneven or you're sticking it partially over an indentation.
3. Not wax resisted
4. Wax resist application is rough. Try watering it down.
5. Dent puller isn't wet.
If it can stick to a flat shiny surface, then you should be able to stick it to a pot with the right process. Fault with the dent puller is the easiest thing to rule out, after that start looking at other parts of your process.

Dent puller arrived, had to try it out straight away. 1 broken pot where I put the puller over my logo, 2 fell off into the glaze (splattered or what) and one fell off onto my lap - mess everywhere but you said don’t trust it! 4 pots glazed well so really grateful for this video - what a learning curve 😂

Yeah, there are a few different sellers with wildly different prices. Someone said that shipping from Amazon UK or even directly from Gunson worked out a lot cheaper than buying from Amazon US, so that might be a better option.

How do you remove the dent puller after dipping in the glaze without touching the glazed piece? I just purchased one.

You just wait until the glaze is dry and then you can handle it without ruining the paint

Tried mine for the first time today with spotty results. Think the rough clay may be the problem on a few of the pieces. I do wax resist the bottoms but the puller will release and pull off a circle of wax release. I haven't tried diluting the wax though. Do you think it will help if I do?

I bought two and neither works on my pieces - yet. I haven’t given up.. because on 2 pots the logo interferes and it doesn’t hold but also the wax is candle wax and isn’t completely flat perhaps? The dent puller I bought doesn’t have the Press down part in the middle.. but it suctions to an already glazed mug and to my phone so I think it may be my wax resist or logo that is the problem. Try, try again!
