Car Dolly Project Before & After

Havent posted any videos in a while because ive been really busy with this and then a bunch of things that went wrong that i will be showing in my next couple vids. Bought this car dolly off of kijiji... Seen it forsale and it was too good of a deal to pass up so i bought it and sanded it all down and repainted it black..

Ok built one and everyone is always ragging on about the fact I didn't make a deck that has a pivot point but I think it works great

How did you mounted the ratchwt straps mine hot on car fenders

How far off the ground is it? Im working on building my own but my axle will put mine at 12" off the ground from the bottom of the frame to the ground

So once it's built that would leave my top at about 18 " high is that too high you think trying to get some input

How heavy is it? Can two people lift it?

id say somewhere around 400lbs.. 2 people should be able to lift it

And how do you take the curves if the platforms where you can climb with the wheels are not movable?

@@scrap2cash712 Car dollies need to pivot in order to work properly. I'll bet it broke right where the tube size changes on the tongue.
