Hello and welcome back to ENDLESS SCRAP MECHANIC!
In today's episode of Scrap Mechanic Creations! we're checking out an awesome Car Factory! This factory will assemble a car from start to finish using robotic arms. I'll show you the process from start to finish and then we'll take a look at how it all works!

this is a crazy one. from raw lumber to a wooden boat. building the spine. setting up the ribs. the runners, then paneling, with the mast, deck, and sails going in last.

I like to use the detatcher for compact missles. If only there was a coupler too so you dont have to weld it together to connect the peices

@@jackreeze9163 couplers so you can connect a part to another part or vehicle and connect them with the wiring tool. Like connecting a ship to a station (space)

Get the glue mod it works like an auto weld and I'd recommend reading the description

You could have the top pieces come down and pin the side pieces, if the side pieces have seatbelt buckle shaped tabs. Or just a L-hook at the end of the tab would probably suffice. Wouldn't help the lag of the assembled vehicle but it would keep it from falling apart during assembly. I'd love an "attacher" part, maybe we'll see something like that when the fuel mechanic is introduced.

Now, using the intelligentia mod, you have to create a farmbot factory that 1. creates a farmbot, and then 2. allows it to track the player down with farming equipment, of course using sawblades and spikes

If I had scrap mechanic I would do this with many type of vehicles

A boat factory that s on top of the water on a floating pad and at the end the boat gets put right into the water. The same concept can be applied to a sub factory (that could be on top of the water or even underwater). If these seem to hard, you can do a plane/hovercraft factory (that could be placed either in a hangar or could float in the sky by using the inteligentia mod ). Please try at least one of these out !!!! Btw love your vids!!!

What about a 2 man job, one person can control the arms, one person controls the couplers in the car, that is if couplers can re-couple. If this works, build a walker/mech factory!

It would be pretty cool if you made a huge mech with a design similar to that of the mechs from the game Super Mechs. Take a look at the one called GODMODE for an example. The geometric design should mean that it shouldn't be too hard to replicate the style using the polygon blocks.

Maybe we could have a mod that fuses items together upon contact. Maybe even a glue explosive? The block would be placed on something and fuse whatever it touches it to the parent creation, changing to the block it was placed on

There should be an automatic connection tool that does connections automatically so you can actually make a working car.

what would be really cool is by using the modpack's new remote control mods, you could in theory create a car that is actually driveable at the end. the parts would have their own individual suspensions, bearings, engines, and controllers i just heard the part about the lag.... and well... RIP this idea XD

Would the electromagnet mod (plus sensors?) works as "auto wield" or does the parts just get attracted to wrong directions and glitch out? With the base part magnets attached to bearings it could potentially be functional.
