How brave and smart and unafraid to trust her instincts is that amazing young girl?! So often, we disregard our gut and walk into danger out of fear we will offend someone innocent. She is smart enough to not make that mistake. It was brave of her to not run immediately but stay behind cover, an obstacle that made it almost impossible for the predator to get to her. She had to steele her nerves for a long time before it was safe to emerge. I learned valuable lessons from that awesome, brave little girl and I fervently hope she is able to read this and others learn from her quick thinking.

I mean the "almighty" God surely does have the ability/power to watch over and protect each and every one of them from such evil preditors, right ? I will never forget the time I was about 12 and my friend and I were walking through our neighborhood around 11 pm and were literally being stalked by a car that was all beat up. It passed us on the road at least 5 times and slowed down each time as we walked to my house from his. Then we turn around and notice the car is behind us, stopped on the side of the road, but every time we faced forward it was inching its way down the side of the road coming up behind us. So we pick up our pace, but he realizes we know he's behind us so he turns his lights and speeds up, so we start to run. We come to another road and turn to the right and slow down to see if he's coming. We saw about 6 older guys playing basketball and start going towards them, sure enough the car comes up to the road, with its lights off again, so the guys ask us what's going on and we tell them that this car has been following us around and without hesitation all 6 of them start walking towards the car. The guy spun his tires to get out of there and we never saw him again. But I still wonder to this day if that was what it was then and what I still think to this day.

This happened to me the other night. I never go walking alone at night, but it was so nice out. I looked at my gun, which I normally have at ALL times, and left it there this once. This car stopped a stop sign and pulled right behind me and followed me closely for what felt like an eternity. It was the MOST unsettling thing ever. The car was following me really slow...so close I could feel the heat from the headlights. The Windows were tinted too. I didnt know how many...or who...or if they even had weapons. I dont like people behind me on general...and this was so much worse. I turned around and looked straight at who ever was driving like go ahead and try something. Make my German shepards night. I also train jiu jitsu and was ready to fight if necessary. NOTE: JUST BECAUSE I KNOW HOW TO DEFEND MYSELF DOESN'T MEAN I WANT TO EVER BE IN A SITUATION WHERE I NEED TO USE IT. I took my phone out and meant to call 9-1-1 but I was so unsettled I just called my sister and told her I was being followed and to come outside just incase. As soon as I got off the phone That Cadillac shut its lights off and dipped out so fast. I didnt get a plate because his lights were off. Smart move. But now I look at every car.....hoping I'll see his. Becareful...never go anywhere alone!!! PARENTS! NEVER LET YOUR KIDS WALK ALONE TO OR FROM SCHOOL!!

My friend said they asked her my name and what house I lived in later when the cops interviewed us. Back to the story....Five minutes later my friend mom speeds to my house and blocked their car in my driveway SCREAMING for them to get the fuck out of our neighborhood. I opened the door she yelled for me to go inside call my mom. So frightening I'm actually crying again typing this and I'm 23.

I hope that catch whomever is involved! My only fear of having kids. I know for sure I'd end up blacking out like Toretto in the Fast and the Furious if I caught someone trying to snag my child 👿

My heart just sank so hard watching this video. Smart girl. Thank god she reacted the way she did. I'm about in tears typing this because I'm so upset now. I hope the police catch up with whoever the driver of this vehicle is.

One time, I was driving home with my windows down (I was at the stop sign right near my house). A car honked at me, I ignored as usual, then they proceeded to follow me home. When I pulled in the driveway, they parked in front of it, blocking it off, and they waited for me to get out of my car. I waited a few minutes and they eventually drove off. Yeah, I'm used to stuff like this. Cars honking, slowing down and driving by reeallllyyy slowly, driving by and then turning around and driving by again (repeat like 3 times), etc. Yeah.

O my god. Good think this young girl is aware of her surroundings and isnt being distracted by her phone. Very well done on her end. I hope she found a different route or parents picked her from school from then on. I think its also important for all families in the neighborhood to get to know each other as well.

In my early 20s, was walking home when I noticed a car pass by couple times by me, so I had to pretend to go into a school so he left me alone, scary stuff! Every woman/girl know this struggles.

When i was 17 years old, i remember walking to work when i used to work at the boys and girls club. I was walking on a residential street when a guy drove up and asked me to get in the car so i can help him find where the marina was. I told him "it's down 22nd street." But he wanted me to get in the car and point out a gate At the marina or some bullshit story. He wouldn't take no for an answer. He even said that i can call work and tell them i was going to be late. I said no several times. I told him he was crazy and i don’t get in the car with strangers. Then he got pissed off and punched the steering wheel (cursing out loud) and sped off . Then he came back looking deranged and demanded i get in the car. At that point fear really gripped me and i knew he was dangerous. Luckily, i saw a woman watering her front yard and started to go to her for help, but he noticed i was gonna ask for help and he sped off again and disappeared.
