During April 24 my TVS scooter met with an accident. I was having my own insurance arrangement. Upto the registration of claims the workshop was cooperative. But due to the delay the insurance agency changed to a reimbursement claim. So I had to pay for the workshop. Subsequently the dealer never cooperated with the insurance company. Still I am not able to revive my claim.

Very useful information I face lot of issues with this insurance I took from Shriram..claim is too hard...not easy and as you said I added all add-on benefits even though they are bargain with me ..I spend more then 2.5 Lak they said they can give 1lak...I went to complaint so many gravience then I got only.2lak. Note here I paid full amount from my pocket then this amount after 2months only reflect to my account. Next time I won't choose Shriram insurance

நான் தங்கள் ரிவியு பார்த்து தான் ஹோன்டா சிட்டி வாங்கினேன். இப்போது நீங்கள் சொன்னது போல் விலை குறைப்பு பேச்சுவார்த்தையின் போது நான் ஒப்புகொண்டது போல் விலை குறைத்தார்கள். ஆனால் கடந்த டிசம்பர் 4 சென்னை வெள்ளத்தில் எனது ஹோன்டா சிட்டி முழுமையாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டது. அப்போது தான் தெரிந்தது இன்சூரன்ஸ் பம்பர் டு பம்பர் போட்டிருக்கிறார்கள் என்று. இதில் பதிவு தொகை, சாலை வரி, எதுவும் சேரவில்லை. காரின் ex-showroom க்கு மட்டும் தான் கிடைத்தது. ஆனால் அது 100% கிடைத்து விட்டது, புதிய கார் என்பதால். அடுத்த கார் வாங்கும் போது இன்னொரு முறை இந்த வீடியோ பார்த்து முடிவு செய்வேன். RTI cover provides complete reimbursement based on the invoice amount and not based on IDV, as far as I know. So, if there is a total loss and if we opted for RTI, we will get the complete invoice amount.

Dealer quoted 6k more than what the offline insurance store was asking for my second year OD renewal. I had a claim for rat bite and it was easy you just have to fill out forms and do some follow ups. Still not worth the additional 6k that the dealer was asking. Also I paid out of my pocket and reimbursement happened within 10 working days

நம்மா ஒரு புது கார் வாங்கும் போது நம்மால்லே எப்படி , வாகன பதிவு செய்து, எப்படி சாலை வரி கட்டுவது ,இண்சுரன்ஸ் போடுவது ஒரு முழு விவரமான காணொளி, அதாவது ஒரு வாகனத்தை எக்ஸ் ஷோரூம் விலையில் வாங்கிய பின் இது எல்லாம் எப்படி செய்வது என்று ஒரு தெளிவான காணொளி ,நன்றி.

Bro, To renew my car insurance policy, I contacted my car dealer and asked to include rti, ncb insurance and road side assistance in the add ons. They accepted only rti only. For road side assistance, they said I have to apply separatelyand pay Rs 1300. Regarding ncb insurance, they said this kind of add on is not available in the insurance market. Kindly update your feedback regarding road side assistance and ncb insurance

@@manojmark2372I've taken renewal from dealer for 6 years even though I knew the rates are a bit costly ( 2k - 4k diff ) . But as mentioned in earlier comment I didn't have any followups or hassle with claims ( I had 4-5 claims done totally for different small , big issues ) . Now stopped dealer insurance since it is too costly for me compared to online rates . So choice is always upto one's wish . You can decide and buy

All said and done, no company will entertain you when you make a claim. Moreover, surveyor and other charge will not be covered. When your vehicle is damaged by another person don't claim from your insurance, claim it from the other person's insurance. Only then you will get NCB benefits. Dealers will suck your blood. The difference will be 50 to 70% when you buy from outside, when you transfer NCB of your old vehicle. Recently, I bought a new car, the dealers quote was 72k, I bought it from acko for just 30200 and NCB tranfer of 7100. Net 23100 with all add-ons. Similarly with registration charges.

Hi Birla, While purchasing a car even the dealers are making Fastag as mandatory and charging Rs.500 and more. Is it the car purchaser doesn't have any other option to deny it. Because in outside market, the Fastag is more economical. Is this the business strategy for the car dealers ? pricing more for unwanted stuffs ?

FASTag is mandatory as per the RTO, so during registration, it is a must. However, you can purchase a FASTag on your own and map it with the vehicle's engine and chassis number. Then, hand it over to the dealership before they take the vehicle for registration.

Previous car NCB for my 2016 Renault duster is required to be taken forward to my new Creta that i am buying next week. Company ie car dealer is telling me that i have to pay for full new insurance them get a certificate for NCB from previous insurer and then refund will be given in new insurance. Please advise. You have to get the NCB reserving letter from your previous insurer, after sold your old car, if you have the NCB reserving letter, you can transfer your NCB on the new car. Ncb reserving letter was valid three years. So you can transfer the NCB on first year renewal

Bro like maruti they clearly mentioned wat r thr tie up insurance in even separate website, but like Mahindra don't hav such like that even we checked dealer they still advised to chck with sales team wat they mentioned. Wen we checked with acko they told had tie up with all over india Mahindra, but in show room they said no tie up with acko. Also some insurance have only 2 B2B claims per year like Tata & reliance, that too makes very confused. Pls investigate & advise us clearly thanks

Middle class think twice before you buy a car( white elephant) when you buy a car,, you only buy road tax , GST , INSURANCE, Heighly depreciating product a CAR.
