2 months back I had some problem with my Ciaz 2015 model, I went to suzuki service center for regular servicing, they informed me that my car's gear box is damaged & it has to be replaced because there is water in the gear box. I was surprised with that information because my car was in running condition. As my car is automatic so the repair cost which they told me was of wopping 3,75,000 rupees & it is not covered in insurance. I spken with my friend who has garage. He told me that if you come to my garage by driving your car then he can fix it with very less cost. I reached his garage, he eaxamined it and told me that the radiatod has to be replaced because there is internal leak in coolent punmp which is causing the mixing of gear oil & water. The repair cost was just 14,000. I need to ask you that which inserance can cover my car's repair cost as well?

Warranty only covers manufacturing defects, scenarios such as water entering engine or seizure due to oil leakage, misplaced or damaged key aren't due to manufacturing errors. This is where engine protection part of insurance helps.

I Don't think things work this easily when you negotiating for the car with the dealer, They know very well from where to cover the extra discount they gave you. After getting a good discount if you deny their insurance they will not give you that extra discount. After all its dealer choice to whom and at what price they want to sell the car.
