As far as I know every government employee answerable to every common people but they make a scenario like u comnan people can not do any thing. Exactly, instead of negotiating with Car Dealer for 5000-10000-20000, better to get insurance from outside, you can get 25-50k savings easily. For my last week purchase of new vehicle got comprehensive+RTI,Nil Dep, Tyre, engine Protector+ Consumables+ Keyloss at all inclusive 34K with 75% OD discount. IDV of 12.5 Lacs. Dealer was quoting 50k just for Comprehensive+Nil dep. Always asks what is the OD discount extended in the quotation. OD discount % varies for a insurance company- car to car ( ie Make as well as Model)

Sir you have been providing knowledgeable content to a great extent and have been following you ever since i have been planning to buy a car. Have booked the Tata Altroz. With the help of your data have got the Handling Charges removed. I have also planned to purchase Insurance directly from the Insurance company Tata Aig as they are providing it at a very lower price with all covers. But the catch is the dealer is asking me to sign a declaration that I would not get a cashless claim from them if i purchase the policy directly. Kindly guide. It would be of great help.

cashless claim is insurance company's facility nothing to do with the dealer. Check the tata aig networked garages near by your area. You are hampering their profit that's why this game. Go ahead with your policy. don't sign such document told him this document is not related to purchase. Contact tata motors if dealer insists.
