We must remember that liability is the most important part of the insurance package as it will protect us in a lawsuit if we cause property damage, bodily injury or death. Other items to consider when buying car insurance are replacement coverage or coverage for alternative transportation while your car is being repaired after an accident. This is very informative. I understand clearly now. I have looked at those information before, but I didn't get much until I watched your video. I am going to buy a used car which is worth $3000. Now I can decide whether I should choose a collision coverage and comprehensive. When I got a quote which includes all coverages, it will cost me $250 a month. I'm glad I found your video.

This is such a useful video. Liability insurance is all I would need if I were to buy a car. I use public transport because in China it's cheaper than owning a car. Vehicles cost much more here than in the Canada because of high tariff. Besides, parking fees are exorbitant. In fact, it costs over $ 10,000 just to buy a license plate in Shanghai, can you believe it? The license plate is obtained by auction, and there are so many rich people bidding for the plate! People joked that this iron plate is more expensive than gold.

There are two types of car insurance in my country. i-e Full coverage premium insurance and Third party insurance. It's depending on the car year of manufacturing. Third party insurance is little bit cheaper than the premium one.

A common law couple does not exists in our law but in practice they are reckoned. When you want to get credit or insurance you are considered married. In Poland we have fourth type of insurance called "assistance". It covers the cost of fixing the car on the spot or to have it in tow to the garage when broken down.

That's great! 😃In Canada, we have something called AMA that does that. You can buy coverage for a year and the company will send you a tow truck if your car breaks down.

I see :) This is an association. OK, it is the same thing but provided by somebody else. In our country it is just a next insurance product, but over there in Canada it is an institution that insures and provides such service :) But insurance companies in Poland are clever and often refuse to cover cars older than 12-14 years so in reality you haven't towing insurance when it is most likely you will need it :).

If you have a drivers license from another country, I'm not sure what the rule is. But locals have to follow this process: 1st: Get learner's license 2nd: Get driver's license (GDL) 3rd: Wait two years with no driving mistakes 4th: Do the driving test again to get the full class 5 license.

It's a rip off! I can afford only the liability insurance. Would be enough for me. Pink slips?! Just like here. Good thing in Canada is that you can pay your car insurance monthly. Here you must pay the liability once a year. And that is expensive. If you buy a full coverage you can devide your payments but here I never met a company that offers the monthly payments. Sometimes the bank gives you a good deal on insurance. I've got one only because a loan car has to be insured.
