They've only got themselves to blame. The "chip shortage" and low inventory was the blame for the price increase. Now that that's no longer the case, why are the prices still up like there's a chip shortage??? Wanting 35k for a Nissan Altima should be criminal!

@@db60615How about the farmer or rancher that requires a full size pickup to do their work, and don’t need, or want, power windows, door locks, remote start, collision avoidance systems, and a multitude of other tech things. Not everyone lives where a Yaris is a good option.

A family member bought a 2024 Toyota corolla... The cheapest version to make it simple... And it comes with sensors even to automatically lower the head lights when another vehicle is coming... And if you disconnect the comera on the front the car doesn't start... I guess we will be prisioner in our own cars soon... 😒

I tried talking to a dealer about a new 2024 vehicle and he would not come off the price. Talking about dealership add ons like $800 for tinted windows,just the front two.Told him I tint the front two windows all day long for $85.00.What a rip off.

I am looking for a new car, our local Lexus dealer has a $2000 surcharge on any RX350. Toyota offered a $400 discount on a RAV 4, Geneses GV80 offered a $1000 discount on a $72k car. No deals out there. I am going to try again in the summer or in 2025.

I’m in the same boat. Went to Lexus the other day and the LX was $113k. The TX plug in hybrid is running $80k and they said they don’t even have much to pick from anyways. It feels like I have to over pay and just take whatever they have. I wasn’t even that impressed with the cars. My Mercedes lease is up in March and at this point I’m thinking of just buying it. I didn’t feel like there was any end of year deals out there.

Are you aware that almost every car uses the gps system to track you? They sell your data and make money from you driving around! Just another way to find out where you go, what stores you park in front of, what gas station you use, etc…

Forgot to mention EVs insurance rates have skyrocketing due to highly expensive repairs. Triple to quadruple prices to repair plus more time to fix meaning longer rental times. The car market is horrible. Especially with companies like Stellantis who jacked their prices
